🚨JUST IN: William Saliba is BACK in first-team training! According to @HandofArsenal, the Frenchman has smashed his recovery milestones, but Arsenal will be extremely cautious before clearing him for selection. After months without our defensive rock, this is massive news. Getting him back fully fit could feel like a new signing. Welcome back, Willy! ❤️

🚨UPDATE: Tobias Stieler will be the man in the middle when Arsenal face Slavia Praha at the Eden Arena. The German referee has a controversial history, including awarding two penalties against Bayern Leverkusen after initially booking Amine Adli for simulation in 2023, and an incorrect VAR intervention in Schalke vs Werder Bremen in 2021, later acknowledged by the DFB. With Sören Storks on VAR duty, Arsenal will need discipline, and composed performance. No excuses. Just get the job done.

🚨UPDATE: Arsenal's injury situation is becoming a serious concern. Eberechi Eze was fortunate to make the squad against Liverpool, while Bukayo Saka is still awaiting further assessment on his thigh injury. William Saliba has returned to individual grass work, but there is no confirmed return date. Arteta has a selection headache ahead of Slavia Praha. Arsenal need their depth now, not just their starting XI.

🚨Arsenal's defensive performance at Anfield deserves serious recognition. Keeping Liverpool at bay in their own backyard is no small achievement. The organisation, discipline, commitment and composure under pressure were outstanding. This wasn't just about scoring and surviving. Arsenal showed they know how to manage difficult games. That is the hallmark of champions. 🔴

🚨The most expensive front line in Premier League history was begging for penalty to register a shot on target. Before the match, they said Arsenal forwards are terrible and they won't get into Liverpool team, but same world class forwards can't get a shot on target AT HOME, while the poor Arsenal forwards got 3 on target and scored one. The world class Liverpool team only have 4 goals in 5 home matches at home. Defensive Arsenal side has 9 goals in 4 home matches.

After the 0-0 draw at the Emirates in January, Virgil van Dijk posted a close-up of Liverpool's golden Premier League badge on Instagram, a subtle reminder that they were the defending champions. It was widely interpreted as a dig at Arsenal. Now, the story has a sequel. Following Arsenal's 1-0 victory at Anfield on Sunday, Piero Hincapié posted a matching image of the golden badge with the caption: "I don't forget." Football has a memory and social media is here to ensure the memory stays fresh.

🚨 Thierry Henry Fires Back at Arsenal's Critics: Winning Is What Matters! 🗣️First of all, congratulations to Mikel Arteta and the boys. Winning at Anfield after 14 years is a huge achievement, and they deserve every bit of credit. What a performance! But my message to the team is simple: shut out the outside noise. People can call Arsenal boring all they want, but we don't owe anybody entertaining football. We asked Arteta to win at Anfield, not to stop Liverpool from registering a single shot on target! 😂 I must admit, we were fortunate with the penalty incident involving Alexander Isak, but you cannot undermine Arteta's game plan, tactical setup and game management. He got it absolutely right. Declan Rice was brilliant once again. Gabriel Magalhães and Konsa were superb, Madueke was a constant menace, and Kai Havertz delivered when it mattered. Kudos to the entire team. Keeping one of the most expensive attacking line-ups in Premier League history without a shot on target is an incredible achievement. It shows that Arteta and his players are doing so many things right. That's why we're champions of England and one of the best teams in Europe. It's still too early to talk about the title, but I absolutely love what I'm seeing. My advice to the boys and Arteta is to ignore the noise and keep winning. Arsenal don't owe anyone entertaining football. We asked Arteta to deliver results, and he's found a way to do exactly that. And if he decides to prioritise defensive reinforcements in January, I don't think we'll have a single complaint! 😂 We wanted wins, and Arteta is delivering. That's all that matters.” #AFC

🚨Declan Rice deserves enormous credit for what he brings to this Arsenal side. His contribution to Havertz's winner at Anfield was another reminder that he is far more than a defensive midfielder. His ability to carry the ball, break lines and influence decisive moments is becoming invaluable. What a player. What an investment. 🔴

Breaking the long winless run at Anfield last night after 14 years proved how much this squad has grown. Now all eyes turn to Manchester. We haven't taken three points at the Etihad since 2015, which makes it the ultimate test for this title charge. Time to write some new history my gaffer!!

Noni Madueke was reckless to get involved in the altercation with McAllister, especially when he was already on a yellow card. Even without the headbutt incident, he could easily have received a second yellow for shoving or provoking an opponent. He should have stayed out of that situation. I hope Arteta pulls him aside and explains: "I understand you're trying to defend your teammate, but you have no business getting involved in that situation. You could get sent off and completely change the course of the game." Madueke needs to understand the bigger picture. With Saka injured and Dowman suspended, Arsenal currently have no recognised right winger available. He cannot afford to put himself in such situations. He needs to be smarter. 🔴
