Very disappointing to see grass verges being mown to bits in Cheltenham today - noisy and unnecessary. Buttercups and other wild flowers shredded. Why?! The grass is not causing any problems! Path is wide enough for walking. Shame on you @CheltenhamBC

The developers Taylor Wimpey @TaylorWimpeyplc said the benefits of the #Wisley New Town development would "significantly and demonstrably" outweigh any harm.
Well, they would say that wouldn’t they?

Go to Paris, book a house for 5+ folks on @bookingcom, only to arrive to find the phone number doesn't work, and the address doesn't exist. @bookingcom's international customer service number doesn't work. Find the real house the scammers took the photos from using reverse image search, it's just up the road. Meet the owners, take photos and statement from owners. Email, wait around. @bookingcom offers max £60 refund. Buyer beware!

Guess what used to 'live' here?🤔 That's right, a tree 🌳
There are thousands upon thousands of empty locations across our streets where trees used to 'live'.
Let's make it a priority to re-green our streets. Let's create a new #nationalforest 🌳🌳🌳🌳

Although the last dolphinarium in the UK closed in 1993, did you know that it's still not illegal to keep cetaceans in captivity in England?!

Brighton and Hove folk: come protest outside Town Hall at 3pm Tuesday 23rd. The glyphosate ban seems to have helped numbers of all sorts of wildlife, including starlings and hedgehogs. We can’t let the new council break its manifesto commitment to keep the ban. Please come 💚

Only 3% of our wildflower meadows are left - bad news for bees and butterflies. RT if you think we should give pollinating insects a fighting chance by growing wildflowers in our gardens, communities, towns and countryside, and by avoiding pesticides and weedkillers 🐝
