Sadly another hidden cost of 2020. Another young mum of 4 children, aged 31, who had her cancer treatment delayed. We must not allow healthcare to be delayed like this.

I’ve never been on a mountain riding without a piece of Burton kit. RIP Jake 🏂

It is with a heavy heart that we share that Burton founder Jake Burton Carpenter passed away peacefully last night surrounded by loved ones as a result of complications from recurring cancer. He was the soul of snowboarding, the one who gave us the sport we love. #RideonJake

Great ideas in this thread re how to intervene if you think someone is being harassed somewhere e.g. ask the time, make a loud noise or just make it obvious you are watching. Well done @joannachiu for helping this vulnerable young girl 💖

Thread about airplane creeps: I’m on a plane from a late-evening stopover from and was very tired and had a row to myself to sleep but couldn’t avoid noticing what was going on in the row behind me.

The proudest moment of my life to be awarded an OBE. I‘m blessed to have received the honour, but it isn’t for me or about me. It’s for Bradley and those he loved. I’d trade it all for him to be back in our lives, forget the goals and awards, it’s the memories I’ll cherish...💙
