Would have slid out cupcakes for a certain superhero's birthday. Except she totally forgot to get extra for that purpose.

She also might be munching on leftover junk food from the barbecue she was at earlier. Because red, white and blue treats were great.
The music might be to drown out the additional fireworks people seem to be setting off. Darcy can only deal with so much of that.
