The result is that most family farms qualify for and claim BPR as well / instead of APR. Either way it’s now going to be taxed.

Is this not because Agricultural Property Releif is limited to the agricultural value of a holding. For most family farm they are run in hand so qualify for Business Property Releif which also covers value above and beyond ag value eg hope value on development of farm yard
