🙏Who is really poor in India?
Poverty is defined by deprivation of basic needs—not by occupation. It should never be used to justify encroachment of public footpaths.
Running a commercial business on public footpaths for private profit is not a poverty alleviation programme. Public spaces belong to everyone, especially pedestrians, senior citizens, children and persons with disabilities.
Support the genuinely poor through education, healthcare, housing and livelihoods—not by allowing illegal occupation of public spaces.
Protect footpaths. Respect the law. Put pedestrians first.

दिल्ली को अतिक्रमण मुक्त, सुरक्षित और सुव्यवस्थित बनाने के उद्देश्य से मैंने माननीय उपराज्यपाल श्री तरणजीत सिंह संधु @LtGovDelhi जी, माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्रीमती रेखा गुप्ता @gupta_rekha जी तथा संबंधित विभागों को एक विस्तृत पत्र लिखकर पूरे दिल्ली में फुटपाथों, सार्वजनिक सड़कों और सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर बढ़ते अतिक्रमण एवं अवैध निर्माणों के विरुद्ध सख्त और प्रभावी कार्रवाई की मांग की है।
आज दिल्ली के अनेक क्षेत्रों में फुटपाथों पर अवैध कब्जों, अनधिकृत निर्माणों, अवैध पार्किंग और असंगठित अतिक्रमणों के कारण आम नागरिकों को भारी कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। वरिष्ठ नागरिकों, महिलाओं, बच्चों एवं दिव्यांगजनों के लिए सुरक्षित आवागमन एक बड़ी चुनौती बनता जा रहा है। साथ ही अवैध निर्माण न केवल कानून और नियमानुसार व्यवस्था को प्रभावित करते हैं, बल्कि जनसुरक्षा, आधारभूत संरचनाओं और पर्यावरण के लिए भी गंभीर खतरा उत्पन्न करते हैं।
अपने पत्र में मैंने दिल्ली भर में विशेष अतिक्रमण विरोधी अभियान चलाने, फुटपाथों को आम नागरिकों के लिए पूर्णतः मुक्त कराने, अवैध निर्माणों की पहचान कर उन्हें हटाने, आधुनिक तकनीकों के माध्यम से निगरानी बढ़ाने तथा दोषी अधिकारियों और अतिक्रमणकारियों के विरुद्ध जवाबदेही तय करने की मांग की है।
इस विषय पर पत्र की प्रतिलिपि माननीय केंद्रीय मंत्री एवं भाजपा दिल्ली प्रदेश अध्यक्ष श्री हर्ष मल्होत्रा जी, माननीय मंत्री श्री प्रवेश वर्मा जी, माननीय महापौर श्री राजा इकबाल सिंह जी, एमसीडी आयुक्त श्री संजीव खिरवार जी, दिल्ली पुलिस आयुक्त श्री सतीश गोलचा जी, डीडीए के उपाध्यक्ष श्री एन. सरवण कुमार जी, मुख्य सचिव श्री राजीव वर्मा जी तथा शहरी विकास विभाग के प्रधान सचिव श्री विजय कुमार बिधूड़ी जी को भी प्रेषित की गई है।
दिल्ली देश की राजधानी है। इसे स्वच्छ, सुरक्षित, व्यवस्थित और नागरिकों के लिए सुगम बनाना हम सभी की सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी है। जनहित से जुड़े इस महत्वपूर्ण विषय पर संबंधित विभागों से शीघ्र एवं प्रभावी कार्रवाई की अपेक्षा है।

Municipal Corporation of Delhi ने Supreme Court of India के आदेशों का पालन करते हुए सभी जोनल अधिकारियों को सख्त निर्देश जारी किए हैं। अब उन सभी जगहों की पहचान की जाएगी जहां रिहायशी (Residential) प्रॉपर्टी का इस्तेमाल गैर-रिहायशी (Commercial) कामों के लिए किया जा रहा है।
📌 आदेश के मुख्य बिंदु:
➡️ हर जोन में ग्राउंड सर्वे और वेरिफिकेशन अनिवार्य
➡️ सभी कॉलोनियों (चाहे authorized हों या unauthorized) की जांच
➡️ Zone-wise पूरी लिस्ट तैयार होगी जहां नियमों का उल्लंघन हो रहा है
➡️ डेटा पूरी तरह सत्यापित और सबूतों के साथ जमा करना होगा
➡️ किसी भी तरह की लापरवाही पर सीधी जिम्मेदारी तय होगी
⏳ सिर्फ 7 दिन के अंदर रिपोर्ट जमा करने का आदेश दिया गया है, जिसके आधार पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट में हलफनामा दाखिल किया जाएगा।
⚠️ साफ संदेश:
अब रिहायशी इलाकों में चल रहे अवैध दुकानों, ऑफिसों और अन्य व्यावसायिक गतिविधियों पर कड़ी कार्रवाई तय मानी जा रही है।
