My eyes were wet from start to finish. I thought of being little in a big world & watching my son's first tries at this mad game. ESPN's Open to the NHL season is beautiful. I didn't expect to cry today-this is stunning. There's nothing like this sport. We at ESPN love the sport as you do. ❤️ Enjoy.

Avalanche swapping goalies after game 3 tells me one thing and one thing only, management is shook and has no trust in their goaltenders. If Scott Wedgewood is supposed to be the future, let him figure it out. Seems like a panic move.

Off of that note, I want to thank everyone, and I mean everyone who has been supporting, following, watching and hating. I’m here for it all, through the highs and lows, with the good comes that bad, the foot never yields from the pedal.

First off, many may not know this, but Coach Strand is the main reason this account exists to this day. Back in 2018 when I was quite inactive when it seemed as though we hit a plateau, Coach Strand reached out and gave his support and words of encouragement when I had pretty much given up on the account. To this day, he’s become one of the most influential people in my life and I don’t want to imagine the life I’d live if I hadn’t kept going with this all. I’ve been given a lifetime of opportunities that I never would’ve had, nor deserved.
Second, I knew this day would come and I haven’t been happier for someone to get this deserving opportunity.
Thank you doesn’t do it justice, but thank you for everything and welcome to the Northeast! Go do big things at the next level!

Say what you want about Texas HS Football, Indiana HS Hoops, or Iowa HS Wrestling... but nothing compares to the Minnesota High School Hockey tournament.
It's a statewide holiday which began earlier this morning. It's broadcast all across the state. People (both students and adults) with no skin in the game call in sick to attend 4 days of elite level hockey. Many participants go on to become businessman, lawyers, teachers, doctors, and a plethora of other things...while others go on to become professionals and Olympians.
Seniors chasing one final memory and creating a legacy to freshmen making a name for themselves and laying the foundation for the rest of their careers. All with one goal... represent the logo on the front of their sweater. It's beautiful. It's competitive sport in its purest form.
I'd imagine the student sections are already pushing the limits which makes me so dang proud. So excited to continue watching elite level play, elite hockey hair, and elite cellys.
Good luck to all the teams, and THANK YOU for the entertainment.

Never seen anything remotely close to what I’m witnessing. This building is insane after the McJesus goal. Most electric start to a hockey game ever. #4Nations 🇨🇦
