Replying to @Logos_network
"Not only does this approach enhance privacy for new participants – it also allows applications to remove friction and deliver a better user experience by onboarding users to token-linked apps without requiring them to transfer an initial amount of tokens." 🤯🤯🤯🤯

Every empire that debases its money eventually falters and collapses. Rome did. The question is what people do when that happens. @QCMetellusPius joins us on Rome’s currency collapse, today's dollar parallel, and building an alternative society that doesn’t depend on it. xitter.cf/i/spaces/1wxWjlNyEONJQ…

1/ A private network needs a private way in. Introducing EmPoWering: a way to let people use proof of work to receive their first testnet tokens from the network and access Logos’ privacy layer. Start with zero, contribute computation, and join the network. Here’s how ↓

New benchmarks show Logos Service Discovery consistently finds a rare service, one offered by only 1 in 200 nodes, in under 1.5 seconds. Built on Kademlia, it gives each service its own routing table, so a node can find peers running a specific protocol, like mix or store, without a slow random walk. Service discovery has also been validated end-to-end as a Logos Delivery plugin, running on the test fleet with deployed module artefacts. Delivery is the P2P transport layer for the Logos stack. With service discovery plugged in, nodes running Delivery can find peers offering a given service without a central registry.

Every outage is a reminder of how much we depend on infrastructure we don't control. But dependence isn't inevitable. We can remove single points of failure. With parallel systems, operated by the people who use them and running on peer-to-peer infrastructure.
🚨BREAKING: A POWER OUTAGE at Google's London Cloud data center triggers WIDESPREAD disruptions across UK banking and online services, BBC reports. Major services, including Revolut, HSBC, and Royal Mail, were affected, alongside court video links, raising concerns over reliance on cloud infrastructure. Google ($GOOG) says the power issue has been mitigated, but full service recovery is still underway.

Experimenting with @Logos_network Basecamp UX: a custom shell called "Basecampium" - No title bar or sidebar, more room for apps - New tab = launcher - Drag tabs out to create multiple windows - Familiar browser shortcuts - Running apps restore after restart I like it a LOT.

The beta version is running on the official Basecamp, 14 languages have been added, cpu, ram and temp modules are up and running, along with hardware detection and thread recommendations for better hashrate... Build the world you want on @Logos_network λ
Things are starting to move! 🔥 We’ve got a Monero node up and running on λ @Logos_network Basecamp, and now we’ve got a beta version of a miner too! This is just the beginning. Let’s keep building!!

New in Testnet v0.3: EmPoWering. Solve a proof-of-work puzzle on your own hardware to claim testnet tokens or send messages through the Blend Network, with no intermediary deciding whether you can take part. How it works: logos.co/media/article/empow…

At Field Station / Rajasthan, we’re gathering developers, engineers, and researchers with @ZuGramadotorg to live together and build tools to support real communities. Participants in the Logos Civic Track are working on challenges identified by Logos Circles, finding practical solutions to local problems. Among the projects being developed: 𖤓 A Hindi voice-call system for reporting village issues, from water and waste to access and maintenance. 𖤓 A voice-first civic reporting tool that turns spoken reports into trackable tasks, with updates, evidence, and accountability. The goal is to make it easier for people to report problems, coordinate responses, and improve the places they live. With tools that communities can run themselves without dependence on anyone else. Build the parallel.

Node log says est. 19.4 hrs left, so by tomorrow I should be able to run a Monero node in Logos Basecamp. Pruned it for demo purposes while syncing from scratch (min. 60 GB of free storage required). Works on Logos Basecamp v0.3.0+ (stable). github.com/logos-co/logos-ba…

LNS v4.1 on LEZ testnet: private .lez names, front-run proof, no server sees lookups. Name → key: jef.lez names an Ed25519 key. Its signed AccountLog (DHT, Storage) endorses jef.lez. Valid only if both match. forum.logos.co/t/lns-lez-nam… @alexanderchopan @jarradhope_ @vrycmfy

New RFP open for proposals: RFP-021, Trustless Ethereum State Attestation for LEZ A reusable LEZ primitive that lets any LEZ program act on a fact about Ethereum and know it is true, with no trusted intermediary: an Ethereum light client inside a LEZ program, finality and inclusion verification, and a verified statement any program can consume. Scope highlights: ▪ In-program sync-committee tracking with BLS12-381 verification, from a trusted checkpoint ▪ Inclusion verification for accounts, storage slots and event logs under a finalised header, plus a predicate interface ▪ Permissionless updates, chain binding, and no new correlation signal for consumers ▪ Cost measurement (cycles, gas, proof time and size) as a primary output ▪ Logos core module, headless CLI/daemon, SPEL IDL Duration: 8 to 12 weeks of development, testnet output Deadline: 11th of November 2026 (UTC), proposals are reviewed together after it Suits: teams with Ethereum light-client, BLS12-381 and Merkle-Patricia proof experience, plus LEZ program development Questions on scope welcome in the forum thread below. Damn it! Damn all the AI! I CANNOT FOCUS! @Corpetty mentioned how in the future you will be able to run "remote modules" in Basecamp and how I am kinda of doing that now with the Shrooms mesh - because the problem is trust and discoverability - how can you trust some "unathenticated" Logos Storage modules somewhere (maybe your basement, but still..) and also how do you reach it when you are not home? I am workarounding these things by Shrooms mesh - any mesh devices is trusted (I had to invite it, I have to renew its credentials etc..) and every devices is auto-discoverable - that is how Shrooms Agents can discover all the agents on all the peers. Now, I also talked about using Dufs server (a simple file server) to share data between devices/peers. What if my Dufs Basecamp app also handles Logos Storage? And WHAT IF it also handles remote Logos Storage nodes living on the mesh? And so...I prompted...and I received. Dufs Basecamp runs a storage node now, so you can fetch files by CID and upload and you get previews. You can also re-upload the file to your configured Dufs server(s) if you need to. But it also allows you to configure a remote Logos Storage node and control it the same way - like it was a locally running module - for this we created Logos Storage Gateway Basecamp module. I have tested it across my laptop - VPS - tablet and it seems to work fine:) One small thing for @vrycmfy as well - I added "Upload to Logos Storage" to the Reelcut while I was at it:) WDYT @Logos_devs ?
