If you won't create a system to deter people from pillage, you are indirectly encouraging and exacerbating it!!!

At the 3rd RussiaโAfrica Summit in Moscow, today, I reaffirmed Africaโs firm commitment to ending longstanding dependency on foreign aid and raw material extraction, urging our global partners to embrace investment models that deliver equitable, long-term returns for all.
Our goal as Africaโs current leaders is to eliminate administrative bottlenecks and transform historic goodwill into robust, sustainable commercial ties. Africa is a continent of the future. Immense opportunities abound for mutual investment between African and Russian enterprises, particularly in agriculture, agro-processing, healthcare, energy security, and digital services.
To address trade imbalances and create direct market access for African goods, we must deploy modernised trade settlement mechanisms, including the use of local currencies and integrated digital payments. Better market information, predictable quality standards, resilient logistics, and closer cooperation between our respective private sectors can make trade far more balanced, reliable, and mutually rewarding.
Ghanaโs young people are our greatest assetโฆ I fully agree.
This morning, I joined the Ghana Statistical Service for the launch of the maiden edition of Ghana in Numbers 2025, themed โYouth and the Demographic Transition.โ
Reliable data is essential to sound policymaking. But its real value lies in how we use it to make better decisions that improve peopleโs lives.
I am particularly pleased that the publication brings together important economic, financial and social indicators, providing a clearer picture of Ghanaโs progress and the challenges ahead.
The theme, "Youth and the Demographic Transition," is a timely reminder that Ghana's young people are our greatest asset and data will help us design better policies for them.
As we work to consolidate macroeconomic stability, our focus must also be on translating that stability into investment, productive employment and greater opportunities for our young people.
Congratulations to the Ghana Statistical Service on this important initiative.

None, No one shouting and making noise has so far been able to convince any sensible Ghanaian that the Foreign Minister has committed any crime in the humanitarian evacuation of Ghanains from South Africa. Ignore the noisy gang whose presentations are at best passing for entertainment of Clowns in a bazaar ! Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is going NO WHERE! He remains our most diligent, effective, efficient and impactful Foreign Minister since 1992!

Earlier on the Pulse on @JoyNewsOnTV, I made the point that calls for the Honourable Ablakwaโs resignation are a joke best reserved for a circus at Asylum Down. None of the claims against him so far have been substantiated.

On @ghonetv I insisted on my long held position that partisanship must not compel us to abandon our fidelity to the law. Lawyers even more so must not abandon their knowledge of law to advance ludicrous partisan talking points.
