I've made this point a million times before, but the nature of the clones' betrayal is made very clear in Revenge of the Sith. Cody in this scene stands in for the clones as a class of being. And what do we see? Easy camaraderie and friendly banter with Obi-Wan as he dutifully returns his weapon to him...then one call from the Emperor, a robotic "It will be done, my Lord," followed by an instant "Blast him!" with no hesitation or indications of regret whatsoever. That's what makes it so shocking. The clones seem completely human, but then they're given an order, and so they casually gun down their Jedi comrades without a second thought. I love Temuera Morrison's narration in the O.G. Battlefront II, but it's directly at odds with what the film is telling us happened with the clones.
