Finally blocked by this cunt. @AllisonPearson
Replying to @AllisonPearson
Because that would mean having to include the arrest off two white males being arrested for raping two non white women, in two separate incidents wouldn't it Allison. And after #bbcqt you'd be very stuck in how you created that 'list'. Best keep quite on that list eh.

Who’s running payroll for this genocide denial operation? Do they get paid per post, per lie, or per Palestinian life they manage to erase? What a miserable way to earn a living.

Elissa Slotkin is thinking about running for Senate Majority Leader. She identifies as a Zionist so this is an absolute no from me. I don’t want Schumer either so anyone who stands up and does not support Israel will be my preference. I want no Zionist decision makers in either House.

I am the Amazon product manager who named the Prime cancellation flow after a 10-year war. Iliad. That was the code name. The Federal Trade Commission later explained it to the court better than I ever explained it to my skip-level: “Fittingly, Amazon named that process ‘Iliad,’ which refers to Homer’s epic about the long, arduous Trojan War.” Fittingly. A federal agency used the word “fittingly” about my work. I have it on a mug. Nobody in the review had read the Iliad. That is how it got approved. If 1 person in that room had read it, they would have known it doesn’t even end with the war won. It ends with a funeral. We shipped it anyway. That’s Day 1 thinking. I work in South Lake Union, in Seattle, where it rains 150 days a year and nobody owns an umbrella because umbrellas are for tourists and Microsoft. We have a banana stand that gives away free bananas to anyone who walks by. It is the only thing in the company you can get without a subscription. Every morning I take 1, walk past the Spheres, sit down, and think about how to keep you. Let me tell you how it actually works, because you imagine an evil genius, and it is, I promise you, a 6-page memo and a very strong opinion about button placement. At Amazon you pitch a product by writing the press release before you build it, with an FAQ underneath. Mine had a question near the bottom: “Why would a customer want to leave?” The answer field said, “Out of scope.” Nobody flagged it. We read the memo in silence for 20 minutes at the start of the meeting, like a book club that is afraid of the author, and then we argue about the font. Getting in had to be easy. That was the Trojan Horse, which, I have since learned, is not in the Iliad. It’s in the Odyssey, and in Virgil. We had the wrong book. We had the right horse. A big yellow button at checkout: “Get FREE Two-Day Shipping.” Free. A gift, wheeled right up to your city gates. You clicked it. You were in Prime. Our own internal report said customers “did not understand the impact of their choice.” In August 2017, 17,131 of the 25,542 cancellation requests our team handled were “accidental sign-ups.” That’s 67%. That’s a better conversion rate than most intentional products. Someone proposed a clearer button. It tested beautifully. It would also have cost us “260,000 annualized paid Prime members.” A draft memo declined to clarify things “because it would cause a ‘shock’ to business performance.” We do not shock the business. We shock the customer, gently, monthly, at $14.99. Our leader at the time had a theory about why people were confused. “Shoppers in countries that are new to online shopping may not know that a yellow button means they’re buying Prime, like we do.” Like we do. The whole company spoke Yellow. The customers were simply illiterate. For years the decline button said, “No Thanks, I don’t want FREE Two-Day Shipping.” You had to say it. Out loud, in your head, with your mouse. An internal email warned us about “a well established external trend (negatively perceived) called ‘customer shaming,’” and noted we were “specifically called out.” So we changed it to “No thanks.” We are capable of growth. Getting out was my department. The FTC gave my work a title, in a federal complaint, in bold: “Prime’s Four-Page, Six-Click, Fifteen-Option Iliad Cancellation Process.” I have never received a better performance review. On mobile it was “an eight-page, eight-click minimum process.” Odysseus needed 10 years to get home. We only asked for 8 pages. We were, by Homeric standards, generous. First you had to find the door. If you typed “cancel membership” into the Amazon search bar, it did not cancel your membership. It took you to the Iliad. Achilles had a heel. We had a search bar that led straight back into the war. Page 1 was my favorite. Before you could leave, we made you “[t]ake a look back at [your] journey with Prime.” A little memorial. A scrapbook. And then, in the FTC’s own exhibit, the scrapbook of a real customer: “0 Packages shipped for free with Prime Delivery. Start shopping today’s deals!” “0 Movies and TV shows watched with Prime Video. You can start watching videos by clicking here!” “0 Songs listened to with Amazon Music Prime. Start listening now!” 0, 0 and 0, with an exclamation point after each. That is the most honest page Amazon has ever published. It is a customer who received nothing, being invited to receive more of it. At the bottom, 3 buttons. “Remind Me Later.” “Keep My Benefits.” And “Continue to Cancel,” which, I want to be precise, did not cancel. It continued. Continuing is not the same as cancelling. Ask anyone who has ever been in a meeting at Amazon. Page 2, same 3 buttons, slightly different words, so you’d wonder if you were losing your mind. You were. That was a metric. Page 3, 5 options. “Remind Me Later.” “Keep My Membership.” “Pause,” which stopped your billing and kept a “quick-resume” button 1 click away, the way a casino keeps your coat. “End on [date],” which turned off renewal and refunded nothing. And finally, last, at the bottom, under a warning icon telling you that “By cancelling, you will no longer be eligible for your unclaimed Prime exclusive offers,” the only button in the entire epic that actually ended it: “End Now.” By the time you reached it, you had seen “Remind Me Later” 4 times. Penelope kept her suitors waiting for years by weaving a burial shroud all day and unraveling it every night. “Remind Me Later” is Penelope’s loom. You think you are making progress. Every night, we undo it. And the refund, if you made it, was limited to 1 monthly charge. We didn’t mention that on the way in. You don’t tell Odysseus how many islands are left. It worked. After Iliad launched, cancellations dropped 14% at 1 point in 2017. The internal document is a masterpiece of Seattle understatement: “Although this data is directional, retention appears to be trending positively.” Retention. That’s what we call it when a man stands at the gates of his own house for 4 pages and can’t get in. People inside objected. Of course they did. This is a company of very smart, very tired people. 1 employee wrote to leadership, “We congratulate when someone changes a headline color, or the style of a table, but don’t notice we are not even telling customers what they are signing up for.” A colleague told Business Insider, “We have been deliberately confusing. It’s very un-Amazonian in terms of customer obsession.” Customer Obsession is our first Leadership Principle. Everyone forgets it’s a principle about obsession. Obsession doesn’t let go. Obsession doesn’t take “End Now” for an answer. Obsession sends a reminder 3 days before your renewal. Some called the Iliad a failure of Customer Obsession. I’d call it the purest form. Our founder put it best in his 2016 shareholder letter: “you’d be irresponsible not to be a member.” I printed that and taped it above my monitor. Irresponsible. Trapping is such an ugly word. We were protecting you from your own irresponsibility, 4 pages at a time. The Greeks finally got into Troy with a gift. The government finally got into Amazon with a subpoena. In September 2025 we settled for $2.5 billion: a $1 billion penalty and $1.5 billion in refunds. Our spokesperson said there was “no admission of guilt in this settlement by the company or any executives.” So for the record, nobody did it. The flow designed itself. The buttons arranged themselves into a war. Here is the detail I treasure. To pay the refunds, someone had to build a flow. A refund flow. For millions of people. And I can tell you, as a professional, that it is very hard to resist adding a page. Last month my own badge stopped working. Reorg. I sat in a conference room named after a Leadership Principle while HR walked me through my offboarding on a laptop. Page 1 said, “Take a look back at your journey with Amazon.” Page 2 had a button that said “Continue.” It did not continue. Page 3 offered to remind me later. I clicked “End Now.” It was always the last button. It was always there. It was just at the bottom, under a warning, where we put the things we hope you’ll never reach. It’s raining in South Lake Union. I took 1 more banana on the way out. It was free. I checked.

It’s hard to grasp the BBC’s systematic attempt to launder Israeli propaganda until you see the sheer scale of it. Here's a compilation of them doing it at 2x speed. The latest was on Newsnight on 4 November. When Bernie Sanders called Israel’s government extremist, Victoria Derbyshire answered for it: “And the Israeli government would deny that they are extremists.” As this video shows, BBC presenters repeatedly do this as guests describe Israel’s crimes: “Israel would say.” “Israel would deny.” “They would reject that.” We counted 70 of these denials and justifications in 52 aired interviews. The BBC calls this impartiality. But in not one of those 52 did a presenter raise any of these words from Israel’s own leaders: - “We are fighting human animals.” Yoav Gallant, 9 October 2023 - “It is an entire nation out there that is responsible.” Isaac Herzog, 12 October 2023 - “They will not receive a drop of water or a single battery until they leave the world.” Israel Katz, 13 October 2023 - “Remember what Amalek did to you.” Benjamin Netanyahu, 3 November 2023 - Starving two million people in Gaza until the hostages came back might be “justified and moral”. Bezalel Smotrich, 5 August 2024 On 10 October 2023, Tahani Mustafa told the BBC that Israeli forces were not distinguishing civilians from fighters. The presenter replied: “They would reject that.” Mustafa then had to bring up Gallant’s “human animals” herself. The BBC supplied the denial. The guest had to supply Israel’s own words. That is cherry-picking. The Royal Charter requires the BBC to be impartial, and the public pays for it through the licence fee. In these interviews, it handed its audience Israel’s denials and left out its leaders’ own words, during a genocide streamed live to the world. We have archived the BBC’s coverage for three years, and we are now counting all of it: 50,000 video clips and many more written excerpts. We are calling this first part: "BBC: The Would Say Files". Handing Israel its denials is only one of the ways the BBC launders Israeli propaganda, so we will count every other technique too. Over the next few weeks, we will announce each milestone as we complete the report. These are the first results, with every clip, quote and source: newscord.org/editorials/bbc-…

Marvel spent $250M on one fight scene. This took one prompt. Created by Seedance 2.5 on @makeugc Prompt:👇 FORMAT Exactly 30 seconds, 16:9. Photorealistic live-action superhero disaster sequence, real-time action, cinematic scale, detailed physical materials and grounded motion. Edited sequence with motivated cuts. No slow motion, captions, logos or end card. REFERENCES Image reference: the supplied two-figure character sheet. Both figures depict ONE woman in two states, never two separate characters. The left figure defines her exact face, athletic physique, asymmetrical turquoise hair, earrings, tattoos, metallic turquoise top, glowing inverted triangular chest core, short skirt, chains and heavy boots. The right figure defines her completed armor: fitted dark teal segmented metal, restrained gold edges, cyan seams, the same inverted triangular core, enclosed angular helmet and cyan eyes. Preserve these designs and proportions. Render her skin and every material as photographed reality. Video reference: use the supplied flying armored-character video for the feeling of speed, steep dives, body banking, close facade passes, engine trails and reactive camera pursuit. Use its actual music as the opening audio reference, as specified below; do not infer a song title or add unrelated lyrics. WORLD AND SPATIAL LOGIC A devastated contemporary metropolis in smoky late-afternoon daylight. The heroine starts on a roughly 350-meter rooftop with several meters of clear run-up behind its edge. A roughly 150-meter zombie advances along a broad avenue a few blocks ahead. Buildings provide stable scale references. A visibly damaged office tower stands behind the zombie, established in the opening view and retained as the final fall destination. Keep the rooftop, avenue, zombie and damaged tower in consistent positions across cuts. The zombie is a terrifying humanoid corpse with weathered gray skin, deep facial creases, sunken eyes, uneven teeth and torn clothing. Its limbs have immense weight; feet load the street, shoulders lag behind turns, loose flesh and cloth follow inertia. Existing fires, drifting ash, falling glass, broken water pipes and distant emergency lights establish widespread chaos without obscuring the main action. IMAGE AND CAMERA LANGUAGE High-detail photographic imagery with a hybrid handheld DV tape-camcorder feel and subtle 16mm-like grain. Preserve face, armor and destruction detail; do not degrade the image into low-resolution noise. Slight exposure hunting around bright energy, modest highlight bloom, natural motion blur, imperfect horizon and reactive hand shake. Delayed focus pulls, brief clumsy zoom corrections and occasional partial helmet cropping occur during transitions, never during decisive action contacts. Rooftop views feel handheld; aerial views use a physically continuous pursuing camera with the same imperfect handheld character. The camera briefly lags behind direction changes and catches up. Avoid impossible teleporting viewpoints, constant barrel rolls or random shaking. Keep the run-up, takeoff, escape from the hand, punch contact and building impact readable. TIMELINE 00:00-00:03 | THE HEIGHT AND THE THREAT Open in the heroine's first-person view at the rooftop edge. The tips of her reference boots and the concrete lip briefly occupy the bottom of frame; she is not simultaneously visible as an external figure. Wind lifts loose rooftop dust. Her gaze tilts down into the immense street canyon, then rises toward the giant zombie. The zombie takes one ponderous step and shoulders through the corner of a building. Facade panels detach first, floor fragments fall next, then dust billows behind them. Show the damaged office tower farther behind it. Burning streets and smoke establish devastation. A small involuntary camera correction conveys vertigo. Reference music begins immediately beneath high-altitude wind and distant structural rumbles. 00:03-00:06 | THE TAP AND THE FIRST ARMOR Cut to a full-body view of the heroine, including both boots, standing several strides from the roof edge. The zombie remains visible in the distant city. Determined expression, a short breath. She lightly taps the central inverted triangle once with two fingers. Cyan light pulses beneath her fingertips. Fine metallic structures spread continuously outward from the core across her top, ribs and shoulders, gradually interlocking into the exact reference armor. The transformation initially advances slowly enough to read. Light reflects on skin and nearby metal. Skirt fabric and loose chains visibly draw inward and become enclosed beneath the forming hip segments rather than vanishing. Focus briefly transfers from her eyes to the core. Delicate mechanical ticks build beneath the reference music. 00:06-00:09 | RUN, TAKEOFF AND ONE SOMERSAULT Cut to a wide side view containing her full body, the clear rooftop run-up and the edge. She takes three fast purposeful running strides while armor continues spreading over her arms and legs. Boot armor locks before the final push. Show planted foot, compressed knee, forceful extension and clear separation from the rooftop. She jumps beyond the edge, tucks into ONE compact forward somersault, completes that rotation, then deliberately pitches into a headfirst dive. No repeated flip, floating takeoff or concealed launch. The camera pans late but retains her body and the roof edge through takeoff. Chains and clothing are fully secured inside the armor; nothing trails loose into the engines. 00:09-00:11 | FALL BECOMES FLIGHT External side view down the glass facade. She falls headfirst. Remaining neck segments close, turquoise hair is gathered inside the forming helmet, and the faceplate locks last. The completed suit matches the right-hand reference figure. Blue-white sole thrusters ignite, followed by short cyan palm-control jets. She opens her arms, changes thrust direction and follows a visible curved pullout into forward flight toward the zombie. Do not change downward motion into horizontal flight instantaneously. Engine light reflects in the windows; exhaust pushes dust from a nearby ledge. Reference music rises naturally with the flight transition, then cuts completely at 00:11, before the first attack. Its reverb tail also stops by 00:11. 00:11-00:14 | FIRST ATTACK, MUSIC OFF Show her tiny armored silhouette approaching the giant's upper torso, preserving the overwhelming size difference. While moving across its front, she fires exactly two distinct palm-energy pulses in sequence: one strikes the shoulder, the next the upper chest. Show emission, travel and the corresponding impact for each. Brief localized cyan-white flashes, scorched surface fragments and smoke; no enormous opaque light cloud. The zombie recoils, turns toward her and raises a hand. She banks away immediately. Sole thrust sustains flight while the palms fire. Sound is now entirely diegetic: sharp energy discharges, deep impact thumps, engine Doppler, wind, the zombie's roar and her breathing inside the helmet. 00:14-00:18 | THE NEAR CAPTURE One massive hand sweeps across her path. She banks beneath it. The other hand approaches from the opposite side, fingers visibly beginning to close around her. A finger clips the side of her armor, producing a hard metallic impact and an audible involuntary gasp; she is knocked into a short uncontrolled rotation. Before the fingers fully close, a sharp combination of palm and sole thrust sends her through the still-open gap. The hand closes BEHIND her. She never passes through solid fingers and never escapes a sealed fist without explanation. Camera briefly lags and crops the helmet edge before recovering. The scrape on her side remains visible for the rest of the film. She regains orientation through active thrust corrections, breathing harder. 00:18-00:21 | CHEST BEAM AND LOSS OF BALANCE She brakes at a clear distance in front of the zombie, legs braced apart, sole thrusters angled to resist recoil. The inverted triangle intensifies toward a white center during a short charge. A powerful cyan-white chest beam strikes the zombie's upper chest. Preserve a bright beam core and readable silhouettes around it. Reflected light sweeps across nearby glass and smoke. The giant's upper body leans backward; it takes a recovery step, but its heel lands on an existing rubble pile and its footing becomes unstable. The beam destabilizes it rather than vaporizing it. Her body visibly strains against recoil, engines labor, breath escapes through clenched effort. The beam ends before she begins the next maneuver. Damage and smoke remain at its impact point. 00:21-00:24 | THE ENORMOUS FIST AND ACCELERATION She makes a short banking arc to one side, opening a clear diagonal approach to the zombie's jaw. Nested segments visibly deploy from her RIGHT gauntlet and forearm into an enormous armored striking fist approximately the size of her body. Reinforcing members lock along the forearm and shoulder. The rest of her suit remains fully covered; do not strip armor from her torso to form the fist. A dedicated rear-facing booster opens on the enlarged gauntlet assembly. Keep the fist on the same right arm for all remaining shots. She aligns shoulder, elbow and fist with the attack vector. Sole engines and fist booster brighten together, accelerating her upward and forward toward the underside and side of the jaw. The zombie remains off balance from the preceding beam and failed recovery step. A rising mechanical engine scream replaces any musical buildup. 00:24-00:25.5 | ONE DECISIVE CONTACT Use a clean side three-quarter view showing her approach, extended reinforced right arm, fist, jaw and the giant's shoulders. ONE accelerating uppercut-like strike connects with the underside and side of the jaw. Show the actual contact clearly before the camera jolts. A compact cyan energy burst and displaced dust accompany the impact without hiding it. The head rotates, shoulders follow, and the already unstable giant begins toppling backward. She also decelerates at contact, then peels away sideways under thrust, clearing the falling body. No second hit, replay, cutaway before contact or effortless passage through the skull. Convey fictional power through booster thrust, bracing, impact and consequences, not unexplained changes of scale. 00:25.5-00:29 | THE FALL AND COLLAPSE Cut to a wide view from a neighboring rooftop, keeping the already established damaged tower behind the zombie. Its upper back and shoulder slam into the tower's upper structure. Show body-to-building contact before dust obscures the scene. Facade buckles, supporting floors fail progressively, and the enormous body continues downward with the collapsing structure. Glass ejects first, heavier concrete follows in ballistic arcs, and dust is forced outward from lower floors. A few secondary firebursts occur in the existing burning zone near the base, tied to falling debris; do not make every concrete fragment explode. The heroine flies clear of the collapse path. The camera makes one awkward zoom-out to fit the immense fall, with a delayed horizon correction. Retain enough visibility to understand the body, tower and direction of collapse. 00:29-00:30 | EXHAUSTED SURVIVOR The heroine hovers in the foreground, slightly side-on, the giant right fist still attached and hanging heavily. Short corrective engine pulses hold her position. The persistent side scrape emits a faint wisp of smoke. Her breathing is heavy and close, with no speech. Behind her, the same ruined tower continues settling and the zombie remains down within the wreckage. A dust front rolls across the lower frame. End on continuing physical aftermath, not a victory pose, title or musical sting. AUDIO DIRECTION Use the actual supplied video's music as the source for 00:00-00:11 when reference-audio reuse is supported. Preserve its musical identity rather than inventing a claimed title, genre or lyrics. Select a continuous opening excerpt that supports the rooftop reveal, armor activation and jump. Let the arrangement remain recognizable while keeping tap, armor mechanisms and engine ignition audible. If exact reuse is unavailable, use the supplied audio itself as the musical reference; do not claim an exact track match. From 00:11 through 00:30: ABSOLUTELY NO MUSIC, including percussion beds, drones, musical risers or returning end themes. All tension comes from sound within the scene. Use layered physically motivated effects: light metallic armor clicks, segmented locking mechanisms, blue-thruster ignition with a bright electrical edge and powerful air thrust, fast flyby Doppler, sharply localized palm discharges, a sustained chest-beam discharge, heavy flesh-and-metal impact, concrete fracture, glass showers, deep structural failures and gritty dust movement. Separate each major attack sonically so they do not become constant undifferentiated noise. Her exertion must be audible: controlled breath before jumping, an involuntary gasp when clipped, strained breath during the chest beam, a brief effort grunt with the final punch, and exhausted breathing at the end. These are human nonverbal vocalizations with a subtle enclosed-helmet acoustic, never erotic or exaggerated. No spoken dialogue is needed. Distant destruction has appropriate muffling and slight propagation delay; close impacts remain immediate. Give the final impact a sharp transient, heavy body and rolling city reflections, followed by the larger building collapse. Preserve dynamic range and intelligibility; no clipped audio or nonstop maximum loudness. CONTINUITY AND REALISM One woman, one zombie, one chest activation, one jump, one somersault, two palm shots, one chest-beam attack, one enlarged right fist and one final punch. Armor assembly progresses without resets. The heroine is fully armored before powered flight. Hair and loose accessories are enclosed, never erased between shots. The side damage persists. The chest beam stops before the fist attack. Thrusters visibly explain acceleration, braking and attitude changes. The fist remains attached through the final shot. The zombie's unstable footing, jaw strike and backward fall form one continuous causal chain. Destroyed structures stay destroyed and fallen objects do not reappear intact. Energy effects illuminate real surfaces, debris has weight, smoke responds to airflow, and the heroine remains human-sized against the giant and city. No cartoon shading, plastic skin, rubber armor, arbitrary object duplication, extra limbs, changing face, scale drift, teleportation, blood spray, unreadable effect overload or camera equipment on screen.

This is an extraordinary amount of economic confusion to pack into one graphic. First, Britain does not need another 3.4 million taxpayers to provide the government with sterling. The British state is the sole issuer of sterling. It cannot involuntarily run out of its own currency in the way a household or a business can. Second, debt interest is not money lost to the British economy. Every pound paid by the Government is a pound received by someone else. Government interest expenditure is income to the holders of government liabilities. The IEA is presenting one side of the accounting while conveniently ignoring the other. Third, the recent increase in debt interest is substantially a consequence of higher interest rates and inflation indexation. The Bank of England as a matter of policy has increased the remuneration on reserves, consequently maturing government debt is being refinanced at higher yields. To describe all this as the inevitable price of excessive public spending is economically illiterate. Finally, the comparison with the income tax liabilities of 18 million workers is designed to evoke the household-budget fallacy: the idea that government must first collect sufficient money from taxpayers before it can spend on public services. It is a powerful political narrative, but a profoundly misleading description of how the monetary system operates. If debt interest is genuinely your concern, discuss the interest-rate policies that determine much of its cost, who receives the payments, and their economic consequences. But please stop pretending that Britain is running out of pounds.
