I am in no way to be considered a Trekkie, however my EARLIEST memory of seeing Sir Patrick Stewart on a small screen was his role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard. It is a memory that stands because I watched with my father. I remember Captain Picard distinctively because this was an episode where the BORG took him over.
I called my father tonight to reminisce about this memory & he remembers it as well. Sir Stewart would go on to play Professor Charles Xavier a role in which it seems he was born to be. I won’t even try to say that I’ve seen every movie or show he played a role in but these two roles for different reasons made me feel like he was the person he portrayed. He was a genius and no one could’ve done the same.
Rest in Paradise Sir Patrick Stewart. When I watch avengers Doomsday in December, it will be with a heavy heart in your final on screen performance.
Wow
Patrick Stewart, who will be remembered most for his roles as Captain Jean-Luc Picard on “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and as Professor Charles Xavier in the “X-Men” films, has died at 86.

Well that concludes the 2026 MLB SEASON.
All The sounds of the crack of the bat will be a distant memory for at very least 4 months.
Congratulations the Brewers on winner their first ever World Series. Changes trivia books everywhere.

Antonio Alfanseco , Livan Hernandez, Jeff Conine, DTrain, Seabass and many other retired Marlins will be at Ldp for all playoff games.
Luzardo would probably be an active a MLB PLAYER in the stand with his ties to South Florida.
Glad the #RaysUp did not get swept! Time to make it a series and they beat the snot out of the MIS tonight.
Ps the Only true MIZ is @mikethemiz
Pretty sure the Giants got blown out at home in the opening game when this guy opened the season on the microphone in San Francisco, The Rays are hoping history does not repeat itself in Saint Pete tonight.
Please ignore my previous tweet…. Thought baseball switch out of the 2-3-2 into the 2-2-1-1-1 would have made sense if it were the NHL or NBA…….
I really hope for the #Raysup to WAKE THE F UP & gentlemens sweep the Brewers. Or at least get it to 7

29 years ago today Bobby Bo gets the fish on the board in the 7th inning of game 7. I can’t for the life of me find the footage of the rest of his trot on this one, but this shit was COLD 🥶
27k….. one of my most shared or viewed tweets without me dancing in celebration, or cryin’ in happiness.
To all the jealous morons talking about the Hurricanes attendence for a noon game against an unranked opponent….
I ask, Have you ever attended a Miami Hurricane’s home game?
I ask this because there is plenty of
1. tradition
- Look at all names in the ring of honor, the amount of returning II_II alumni from on the field play.
- Out of 665 (4 year) American Colleges with an NCAA FOOTBALL Team “THE II_II” ranks 34th all time in overall in collegiate merchandise licensing revenue and sales rankings
2. Fans - Please, be realistic, there are hundreds of thousands of Miami Hurricane fans around the country, unlike the public in state universities like FSU or UF, “The City of Miami or Miami/Dade County“ is not built around a college.
3. The GameDay atmosphere
- (uhm, did you not see pat McCaffe jump off the high board, it is in the intro OF COLLEGE GAMEDAY
- most recently see the Notre Dame game week 1 of 2025, the non die hard Miami Hurricane fans, and the rich legacy of alumni FLY IN for the big event games.
4. Stadium - there is not a stadium built in Coral Gables. The stadium is located 45 mins (without traffic) away from campus of the PRIVATE COLLEGE.
5. Culture - there is an emoji with our hand symbol 🙌, do this anywhere and the world knows THAT it is #ALLABOUTTHEU
6. History
- MIAMI HAS THE WINNINGEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL PROGRAM IN FLORIDA… 5 NCAA FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS.
- The University of Miami is a small private college in Coral Gables, Fl the football program ranks 13th all-time with approximately 358 to 369 total NFL Draft picks. Change this ranking to 4th or 5th if we talk about 1st round picks.
#GoCANES #LetGetLOUDER #GoCanesGO 🎶 It is GREAT TO BE A MIAMI HURRICANE 🎶
I can appreciate @PatMcAfeeShow being honest about his opinion of The Univetsity of Utah.
The one item that bothers me is the $1 million kick comment. The woman who won the raffle was shooting her shot. She is like many women in dating mode, pushing the limits asking for more.
Respect to Mr McAFee for speaking his truth.
