How good is that picture for that quote?!?
Do you need to feel good in order to compete good? The game doesn’t care how you feel. Experts report being in the Zone only 5% of the time. Brad Gilbert wrote a book called “Winning Ugly.” Ken Ravizza stressed that feeling good is overrated. Adaptability over invincibility.

Everyone knows how talented Pedro was as a reporter. He surpassed that as a dad, and was so proud of Rio. It was an honor to know him. Our hearts are broken for Rio and the Gomez family.
Pedro was so, so proud of Rio. We were talking about him Friday. How hard Rio worked and how good he’d gotten and how nasty his changeup had gotten. Pedro loved all his kids so much. He was just the best.

We have a blueprint for rehab after physical injuries in sports but a relative black box for mental health. But they both affect our performance. kaplifestyle.com/2021/02/04/…

The last on-field moment of his outstanding career. Instead of basking in the moment, he makes sure his brother is alright. Today he’s a big league player, but was already a big league person. Congrats brother!! @BobbyDalbec
This is absolutely the epitome of loving your teammate, athletics at its finest. @ArizonaBaseball @NCAACWS
