I see only two things here: 1. Allen was going outside the whole way. He basically predetermined that’s where he was going. 2. And this one is being greatly overlooked —and it’s evident when he looked like he’ll fall over— he’s still regaining confidence in his MCL. He’s literally a year to week recovered from the MCL injury. He doesn’t feel confident enough to plant that inside foot yet and make that cut. Though, this isn’t an excuse for the lack of Davis feature, especially in the pass game. However, number 2 is the very clear reason for the result on this run.
