I actually understand Star Wars exceptionally well. In fact I seem to understand sci-fi better than 99% of you nincompoops on here.
I’m no Nazi, but let’s see what Star Wars teaches us about how to defeat evil?
Ohhhhh…Luke only defeated Vader by getting angry. Obi-Wan only defeated Maul by getting angry. Anakin only defeated Dooku by getting angry. Even Mace Windu would’ve ended Palpatine, having gone straight to the dark, if Anakin hadn’t interfered.
In fact, I’m trying to find where in the movies (non-Disney) a Jedi won against the Sith WITHOUT effectively using the Dark Side.
Well shit…that pretty much never happened under George’s tenure. So what’s the lesson of Star Wars?
IF YOU WANT TO WIN…USE THE FUCKING DARK SIDE.
And I do. And I’m a Star Wars fan. And I 🖤 the Empire. And I can sleep at night.

My father worked on Voyager 1. 🛰️
I've been well aware for some time now that elements of the political/economic sphere (like the recently exposed World Commerce Corporation) have had technologies literal lightyears ahead of these humble probes – but for most of my life I was so proud of my dad for being a part of one of the greatest achievements of conventional engineering in modern human history in the Voyager Program.
And I still am.
He was a remarkable man, coming from a family of equally remarkable lineage, from Judea, to the Magyars, to Turkey, to Polish Frankists, finally to America not even 100 years ago.
Regardless of the popular facade of NASA programs, you've earned this milestone of human achievement, dad, along with all others involved.
Mazel tov. I wish you were alive to see it. ☕

15 years podcasting in the tech industry, I learned a long time ago that boycotting various tech companies does practically nothing, and usually just handicaps the user.
That said, you have NO EXCUSE to continue to give Sam Altman money. This isn’t about boycott, this is a statement of ethics, and the open exercise of letting someone know they’re a FUCKING PRICK.

Nonsense. TMP and III are the two greatest Star Trek movies ever made.
And IX was the perfect ending to Star Trek as a saga – the achievement of immortality and exploring moments in time, not just space, no starship required. TNG worked beautifully on the big screen…except for Nemesis which is aptly named for Star Trek aficionados because it is just that to us. ☕️

I can say this with confidence and verifiably from tech industry insiders that I’ve worked with – the Tech Giants HATE the PC Master Race and nearly always have. The AI Cartel does, too.
Before LLMs, it was the Cloud push. Before that, the tablet push. Ever since 2001, it seems, no one really wants you to have a powerful computer.
But as has been true for nearly 30 years, the raw, unquenchable passion of PC gamers for only the finest pixels and polygons has staved off Oblivion, and I see no signs of that changing.
It’s no surprise China is leading the way in local artificial intelligence models – a massive part of their economy runs on the Master Race buying all that hardware (and accessories). ☕️
