We All Carry Something
We walk this world with different shoes, different stories, different views, yet beneath the skin and guarded eyes, we all hold pain we try to hide.
Some fight battles loud and clear, others drown in silent fear. Some wear smiles to mask the ache, pretending they will never break.
So before you judge a soul you meet, or criticize the path beneath their feet, remember hearts can bruise unseen, behind the strongest human beings
A little kindness can change a day, help guide someone who's lost their way. A hand held out, a listening ear, can calm a storm of doubt and fear.
We were never made to stand alone, to carry burdens on our own. We learn through every life we touch, through giving hope and loving much.
Because none of us are truly different, we all cry, we all heal, we all feel distant We're simply humans trying to survive, searching for light to keep us alive.
So teach with love, and help with grace. You never know what battle someone else may face.
And maybe the world would hurt less someday if we chose compassion instead of turning away.
