I’m sorry but this is DOA 128gb, no ProMotion, no significant tweaking to iPadOS for this size display, and $699 starting price is just not gonna work.

Looks like this is going to be a week of Apple press releases, starting today with the new OLED iPad Mini - 8.5" OLED display - A20 Pro chip - "Acoustic display" instead of speaker grilles - IP67 rating - N1 and C2 chips - Starting at $699 (+$200 from last gen) My take: WAY better screen, WAY better chip, so a very welcome refresh. Very curious to try this audio system. but also I can't find any mention of 120Hz or ProMotion on the website, so.... 60Hz? apple.com/newsroom/2026/10/a…

I’m sure for the iPad mini fans this is great but I doubt it will be drawing in many newcomers with this price. iPadOS on this size screen is abysmal and unacceptable, the Duo has really shown how to make a mini tablet display work effectively

This is how I'd fix the iPhone Duo's ridiculous sidebar. I call it Twin Islands. Two little glass bars: one around the camera for statuses, one at the bottom for app controls. Apps get the full width of the screen. Controls stay under your thumb. Thoughts?

We spent $400,000 on the iPhone Duo drop for October/November delivery... You didn't even need a bot to secure units. I was able to place 12 orders for October 23rd-Nov 9th delivery manually. Meanwhile, we also had auto checkout running for members who weren't awake for the drop. Hundreds of dollars in potential profit PER UNIT without even getting out of bed. @AscendFBA
