Prop firms should stick with doing what do best... being prop firms.
And brokers should create better UX's.
To be better than mediocre, you must watch mediocrity outpace you for a little while.
Accept delayed gratification.
Euphoria can also come by not taking a position when your criteria has not been fully met.
And that is what they mean by "love the process, not the money"

If logic and rationality were the same, we'd all be rich.
Be with someone who adds value and makes you a better person. Anything less will dampen your road to success.

Absolutely!
Here was a chart of my cumulative PNL I posted earlier in the year showing the pivot towards success. I bet you can tell exactly the point at which I ended a toxic relationship.
Being with the right person matters more than anyone can believe! 🙌

Trading seems to work in phases. Pass a milestone to find myself back at the beginning the next minute.
My third year saw my first passed eval (now I pass them easily) and then saw my first payout. Now I need to see them easily too!
The "every failure is a lesson" rings so true
Trading mentors never taught the foundations of trading - they were the foundations themselves.
The takeaway from mentors is that you must have the initiative and build something that works best for you.
Put simply - copy and pasting will get you nowhere.
The road before me was bumpy but it's smoothing out...
Stay focused. Never give up.
Thanks @Tradeify ✌️
Advice for beginners - keep the records for your trades for years to come so that you can look back and see how you have progressed as a trader.
You need to see all the hard times you went through to get to where you are today.
@TradeZella
Took a month off trading to recollect myself. Came back fresh-minded and without tilt.
50k combine complete and ready to trade again. 💪
Let's goooo.
Locked in 540 lovely ticks this morning.
I take from NYMO because it's burnt me way too many times despite it heading to the BSL as expected shortly after. I can only be happy with the result.
A conservative trading target on a mid size account would be:
$500 x 3 per week
48 weeks of the year
That is $72k for the year...
Consistency > moon shots
If you have ambitions to become a funded trader, make sure you are either in the right relationship or single. Anything less will be a disaster for you.
Tilty start but got my second funded account in the end this week. Perfect timing to collect myself over easter break.
