When InterLink launched, the transaction tax helped support features like staking, rewards, and ecosystem growth. Those mechanisms served a purpose at the time, but our vision has evolved. Today, our focus is shifting away from tokenomics-driven incentives and toward real utility. Moving to a 0% tax model would simplify the token, remove friction for users and developers, and make it easier to integrate InterLink into future products and services. It would also mean moving away from staking and transaction-based rewards, allowing us to focus on building value through actual use cases instead of token mechanics. Our goal is for InterLink to become the digital asset that powers the ecosystem we’re building—not because people are rewarded for holding it, but because it has a practical purpose. In the future, InterLink could be used across the products and platforms we create, including: • Access to EchoLink applications and premium features • Digital assets and experiences within our metaverse projects • Future games and interactive platforms • Marketplace transactions and ecosystem services • Additional utilities that make sense as our ecosystem grows We believe utility should come first. If we build products that people genuinely enjoy using, the token should naturally support those experiences rather than being the primary reason people participate. This is part of our commitment to building responsibly—with transparency, compliance, long-term thinking, and a focus on creating technology that can bridge Web2 and Web3 in a meaningful way.
