Police forces have successfully located a missing teenager who abruptly ran away from his family home carrying a substantial sum of cash. The incident unfolded after a distressed mother contacted the police, reporting that her teenage son had left their household taking 15,000 Libyan dinars in cash. Shortly after leaving, the boy switched off his mobile phone, cutting off all communication and disappearing without a trace. Upon receiving the report, units from the Tripoli Security Directorate launched an immediate search and investigation effort to track down the youth. Following an intensive pursuit, police officers successfully located the missing teenager and safely recovered the full amount of cash in his possession. He has since been reunited with his family. The Tripoli Security Directorate urged parents to maintain open, ongoing communication with their children, particularly during their critical teenage years.
