The NCAA Board of Directors voted today to approve nine legislative proposals — which would eliminate 153 current rules from the NCAA rule book — that would go into effect if the House settlement is approved. Here's the full list of proposals/what they entail:

This past week, Ronnie Weintraub passed away. He was a visible presence at many MAAC games over the years and always had his stat sheets with him. Prior to our @PeacocksMBB game against Manhattan this Sunday, his memory will be honored with a pregame moment of silence.

Sometimes in life, we encounter phenomena that are so strong, they need only be referenced by one name. Elvis. Tiger. LeBron. Ronnie. Ronnie Weintraub taught us all how to simply love life and the people in it. My tribute to the late #MAACHoops legend: dalydoseofhoops.blogspot.com…

Approaching UNC-Duke, went out in search of Tobacco Road - the literal and metaphorical. It’s a place North Carolinians know; the basketball and rural roadside barns. Yet it’s a place that’s disappearing, for better or worse. Along what’s left of it: newsobserver.com/sports/arti…
A requiem for NC’s Tobacco Road as it loses stature in a changing college sports world

A requiem for NC’s Tobacco Road as it loses stature in a changing college sports world

Just like the North Carolina crop that inspired its name, Tobacco Road finds itself unable in the present to compete with its past.
