Refused to wear the shirt, shouldn't be allowed to again
I would love to see Ben White under Thomas Tuchel. 🦋 Would be excellent as a RCB in his back three.

glad that the current ownership seems more than ready to spend on players to make us competitive because its so annoying that levy prevented us from doing so with his tight handedness
🚨🎙️Harry Redknapp reveals Eden Hazard wanted to join #THFC but Daniel Levy was unwilling to pay the £18M asking price: "Well, I met Eden Hazard. Joe Cole rang me. He was at Lille, and he said, 'I'm playing with the best player I've ever played with.' I went over and watched him, went back again the week after, and met him in a hotel room with his agent, and he wanted to come. But at the time, Daniel didn't want to spend the money on him. I think it was about £18 million."

i dont get fans saying we need to bring lankshear back, if we'd have kept him its a different story but we actually need a top striker proven in top flight, some championship goals doesn't make him that level

talking about standards... if they had standards you wouldn't be there 😂
🚨 Lisandro Martínez statement. ⤵️ Following everything that has been said about my comments yesterday, I want to share some thoughts on what I said and how I feel. After the match, I spoke out of anger and frustration at not getting the result we all wanted. Those who know me know how I live football, with passion, commitment and a huge desire to win. And when things don’t go our way, it hurts, especially when representing a club with the history and stature of Manchester United. My words reflect how I feel and how much I want to see this club competing for the biggest honours. Those high standards are part of how I see football and the responsibility that comes with wearing this shirt. When I talk about wanting more, I’m talking about the ambition we must all have as part of this club. To keep growing, to become stronger and to have everything we need to compete at the highest level. These are standards we must all hold ourselves to, starting with me. I know that, first and foremost, it’s us, the players, who have to deliver, and I put myself at the front of that responsibility. We need to demand even more of ourselves and work together to take Manchester United back to the top. I believe in my teammates, our manager and everyone working to help this club move forward. I’m convinced that the way forward is to keep working together, with ambition and commitment. My goal has been the same since day one, to win, to compete at the highest level and to give everything I have for this badge.

think its hard to say finishing is down to de zerbi, he's got 90% of his style down and it shows when we've dominated a lot of game periods at a point it is just down to the players, especially when RDZ's system is getting them chances
I’m still behind this. Bullshitting people every press-conference, you had 2 months to coach them to shoot. You can’t repeatedly go out and say “ah shooting is the problem” every game. After sometime it’s a coaching problem in that regard. Lucky point despite being “better”.

shouldn't allow a foreign power to strongarm the country over football related matters, fuck em off
Exclusive with @AlexDooler @DNair5 UAE officials have warned the UK government that the severity of Man City’s punishment could undermine their appetite for future grand-scale commitments in Britain, according to people familiar with the matter They consider the Premier League’s actions to have an influence on the bilateral state relationship, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing undisclosed information The extraordinary pressure comes after Andy Burnham faced criticism, including from within government, for saying Man City’s Abu Dhabi owners should not be disqualified specifically because of the investment they bring to Britain bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

hit the road jack
🚨 OFFICIAL: Manchester City statement. “Manchester City FC is both disappointed and surprised by the opinion of the Premier League Commission, that has been published today. The Club is innocent of the accusations made by the Premier League and a comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence exists in support of all of its positions, relating to this case. The Club will therefore be relentless, and where necessary proactive, in any and all appropriate regulatory and legal forums.  The Premier League process remains ongoing, with significant elements uncompleted. Manchester City FC will now pursue the appeal avenues open to it, on the basis that the opinion contains clear material errors, of law, principle and fact, and is unsafe.  The Club has diligently respected due process for eight years on the basis that the Premier League Board and Executive would behave as an independent, impartial and fair-minded regulator, free from partisan influence.   The Club is obviously restricted in what it can say further until all future proceedings are complete”.

genuinely we all already know that city will barely get anything for blatant cheating first chelsea (ik they self reported but they still cheated for 20 years so) and now probably city completely throws the league into disrepute

it would just be funny if in 20 years this whole city era is just blipped off the map and barely remembered
