We've got a big SG today, as it's the 11th anniversary of Smashing Grounds! We've got a carpool from Maine, another from Worcester, and all of our regulars already confirmed. You won't wanna miss this one!
Bracket starts at 7pm at Game Underground!
A huge congratulations to all of the New England players that made it onto PMRank 2024! We really showed our stuff and made it to a whopping TEN representatives (even if we had to steal essy to do so)!
Here's to another great year of competition!
SG tonight!
Also, I'd like to present an updated PR for 2024! This is done mostly in tiers, as we haven't tracked data in a formal manner (as well as many weeks being secondaries), but I still wanted to highlight some of our gamers from the past year.
Thanks for a great 2024!
Mass Madness is BACK at Game Underground in Waltham, MA on February 8th! Let's try to get a good turnout 👀 start.gg/tournament/mass-mad…
Also, Balance Patch returns tomorrow! Pre-reg here: start.gg/ngpr

SG 31.1 results: the return of SG brings another Flarp win! This also looks like it'll be the beginning of the Boston crew showing up👀
SG 31.2 is tonight! It's the last one before people leave for Undertow, so it's last minute practice time!
Hey all, we've got a busy rest of the year; here's what we're looking at!
First off, Smashing Grounds is back!! The AC has been repaired, so we're good to run events in there comfortably. As long as we have enough people interested, we'll be running starting tomorrow!
10/6 is Infrared!
Attached to an already stacked Melee and Ult major, this event has a 64 player cap that we're likely to see many players of other games enter. We might also be getting a certain Australian for this event 👀
Reg here: start.gg/infrared
Finally, 11/16-17 is Blacklisted 9! Now at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield, this will be the biggest and best Blacklisted yet!
Register for the event here: start.gg/bl9
Hope to see our scene thrive with all of these events on the schedule!
A Massachusetts mainstay and slayer of SipMastah, @FlarpLuigi is attending Infrared! Will anyone be able to stop him??
Sign up now: start.gg/infrared
We'd like to present Infrared, an in-venue shadow major for Wavelength 2024! 64 player cap for Project+ - sign up now and secure your spot! start.gg/infrared

If you are going to Mass Madness on June 8th at Game Underground in Waltham, or if you are going to Stick Drift 4/Mash Harder 9 on June 22nd at Balance Patch in Boston, keep this in mind! Best placement for a non MAPM ranked player at MM gets free p+ entry as well!

SG 30.6 results: Flarp takes a small week over the competition with his ICs!

Tournaments at GU will be paused until further notice - a final decision will be made once the situation evolves.
Please support NGPR (happening tonight), as it may be our only local left after this: start.gg/NGPR
