In a interview conducted today, Senator Ed Markey stated that lawyers were already drafting an emergency case to bring before the U.S.
Supreme Court both before and immediately after the election. He added that thousands of lawyers were being prepared for deployment to key polling stations across multiple states.
Markey further said preparations needed to include readiness for a national strike on Election Day, with millions of people taking to the streets to protest what he described as an attempted electoral crime. He specifically called for workers, unions, and businesses to shut down in a manner similar to the response in Minneapolis following the deaths of Alex Freddi and Renee Goode.
Markey argued that the president was growing increasingly desperate because Republican fortunes had slipped, citing repeated visits to Texas to protect an otherwise safe Senate seat and campaigning in historically safe Republican states such as Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa.
The Senator predicted that an anticipated large Democratic victory would prompt some Republicans in the House and Senate to distance themselves from the MAGA agenda rather than become “sacrificial lambs.”
Markey expressed concern that desperation could lead to the deployment of ICE agents or the military, and he said the public mobilization would demonstrate outrage to the Supreme Court if an emergency petition were filed.
This is why voters must choose common sense candidates in this midterm cycle. The modern Jacobins are out for blood, and only a decisive choice at the ballot box can save our republic.

Yes, I'm Lew Blum, the towing guy, and yes, towing vehicles is my job. I've been in the towing business for nearly 50 years, and I'm not ashamed of making an honest living.
But you're missing the most important part of this argument: WHAT ABOUT PRIVATE PROPERTY OWNERS?
They are my customers. They are taxpayers. They are Philadelphia residents, business owners, landlords, and voters who elected these City Councilmembers to represent them.
When someone parks illegally on their private property, blocks their driveway, garage, or a parking space they pay for, who is supposed to help them?
And once again, WHAT DO TOW TRUCKS DO? THEY REMOVE VEHICLES THAT NEED TO BE REMOVED!
Tow trucks clear accidents, remove disabled vehicles, recover stolen vehicles, and remove unauthorized vehicles from private property when legally permitted.
This is not simply about Lew Blum towing more cars. It's about private property owners having a reasonable way to protect and use the property they own and pay taxes on.
Philadelphia's Bill 160682, the Ticket-to-Tow law, has created serious problems for property owners who need unauthorized vehicles removed. That is why I have spent nearly ten years asking City Council to reconsider this requirement.
I support proper signage, signed towing agreements, photographic evidence, police notification, and penalties for towing companies that violate the law.
So instead of attacking the towing guy, answer one simple question: When someone blocks your driveway or garage, and you cannot get your vehicle out, WHO ARE YOU GOING TO CALL?
The towing company you criticize today might be the very company you need tomorrow.

If the U.S. government later discovers that an individual gained entry through material misrepresentation (lying on official forms, etc…), it can trigger federal investigations, denaturalization, and deportation proceedings - even decades after they arrived…

Stop playing games. Work with us to quickly verify the names we provided and prevent noncitizens from diluting the votes of American citizens.
If you’re so convinced we’re wrong, prove it. We can clear this up in days and give everyone confidence in the upcoming election.

Mail in ballots have no chain of custody, they are unsafe & riddled with fraud so bad that the majority of nations got rid of vote by mail long ago.
I have a simple rule… if a stack of ballots can end up in a park dumpster, the system is broken. Two bins of mail with 92 undelivered ballots were pulled out of a dumpster at Golden Gardens Park in Seattle this week, and King County Elections wants you to relax because "ballots are typically not the target in mail theft" and everybody got a replacement.
Make no mistake, the only reason anyone knows about these 92 is that a voter stumbled on them and called it in, and the county's own chief of staff says they hear about "a handful of incidents" like this every big election. So how many bins does nobody find? How many people never even notice their ballot didn't show up?
And keep in mind, back in April when ballots turned up by a dumpster in Renton, Director Julie Wise called it "an effort to push a false narrative about elections and vote-by-mail." Now it's 92 ballots in a park dumpster eleven days before the election… but hey, signature verification will save us all.
I am tired of being told the mail is safe while the mail keeps landing in the trash. Vote in person, on paper, with ID, and end mass mail-in voting for good.
