Cruelty isn't just a word; it's the ground reality. Animals crammed in cages, slaughtered for meat—this is not survival. With so many plant-based options available, we can choose kindness. 🌱🐾💔

The proposed #TunnelAquariumInHyderabad by #HMDA will have a negative impact on the environment, animals, and humans. This video exposes the destructive practice of #CyanideFishing, which kills 80-90 percent of captured marine fish and devastates coral reefs.

I just asked my city to endorse the #PlantBasedTreaty. We need cities to lead the way and implement climate solutions. The more emails we send, the bigger our impact. Take part:

‼️ This is not a drill ‼️
A clear warning that we must do everything everywhere all at once.
We know the solutions, we just need the political will and for everyone to play their part.
The #BonnClimateConference and @UNFCCC must show leadership and begin negotiations for a #PlantBasedTreaty and @fossiltreaty.

UNICEF-led youth-driven campaign @Youth4WaterPlus launched the Odisha Conference of Youth at Bhubaneswar to mark #WorldEnvironmentDay.
The conference is designed as a boot camp for 60 youth from all parts of the state to identify local issues/problems and create simple solutions that support SDG 6 and SDG 13 in their own communities.
Through mentorship from national and international experts, the youth will formulate the Odisha Statement of Youth for Climate Change.
The conference was flagged off by Chief Guest Susmita Das, renowned vocalist and winner of the Kendriya Sangeet Natak Academy Award and Guest of Honor, BN Baisali, Ollywood actress.

We are halfway between @COP27P and @COP28_UAE, and the prospect for success at #COP28 this December is uncertain.
Monday marked the start of the #BonnClimateConference, where negotiators are attempting to lay the groundwork for a wide-ranging agreement in Dubai. Working groups are trying to resolve countries’ differences on a whole host of issues.
The biggest impact an individual can have is to switch to a plant-based diet, so we are there calling for a shift to a plant-based food system and a global #PlantBasedTreaty to help us get there.
