But he insists on skunking up the place.

We at American Dad! have so much gratitude and love for Patrick Stewart. He said how happy he was to do American Dad! because he was so rarely asked to do comedy, which is insane, as his ability to get the laugh was uncanny. Thank you, Sir, for sharing your joyful spirit, inspiring voice, and willingness to be ridiculous. You turned Avery Bullock, Deputy Director of the CIA, into someone the world loved and couldn't get enough of. We will miss you.

Norman Finkelstein, Cornel West, and Richard Wolff discuss how Tucker Carlson has changed recently, with West saying that we should give Tucker a chance to prove he's really changed for the better. West says that Tucker is going through a "spiritual transformation" and Wolff says that Tucker becoming more religious could make him pro-immigration and against mass deportation.
Cornel West: "Now, he's changed again. People do change, I believe in people changing. And when they change, you give them a chance to be tried and true."
Richard Wolff: "I suspect Mr. Carlson may have an epiphany around his squaring the religion with that deportation."

“This spring, the U.S. military faced a similar dilemma in the Middle East. According to a Reuters report that cited Pentagon documents, U.S. forces used Starshield to pilot their drones for strikes against Iran. When SpaceX found out, it raised the price for Starshield service in that region from roughly $5,000 per terminal per month to $25,000. The Pentagon agreed to pay.
In Ukraine, Musk could be attempting a similar upsell.”

“ I’ve spent my life in service to this state, which I’m proud to call home — from serving as a decorated U.S. Army combat veteran, to the School Board, and then representing our communities in the NC House.
Now, I’m stepping up because leadership should start with listening, and too many voices are left out of decisions that affect their lives because of lines on a map.”

In 2022, Cenk Uygur thought Karen Bass was such a terrible choice for Los Angeles Mayor that he endorsed billionaire Rick Caruso, who ran to her right and was a Republican until a few years prior to the election.
This year, a Democrat named Nithya Raman is Bass' opponent for L.A. Mayor, and is running to her left. Cenk Uygur doesn't seem to have mentioned Raman at all on Twitter or as far as I can tell on T.Y.T. If Bass is so terrible, why won't he endorse her more left-wing opponent? Why was it important to endorse a quasi-Republican the first time, but not a left-wing Democrat this time?
