This machine complements our first machine very nicely. We have plans to further expand and enhance our assembly service capabilities but this is an important step right now. Additionally, it will be used to manufacture the small FPGA module in our up-coming kit computers.

This is our second Pick and Place machine, and while still a smaller machine compared to the large assembly houses, it will add both greater speed and accuracy of placement. This machine complements our first machine very nicely.

We have been expanding our assembly service work over the last few years and have been producing close to 1000 [small] PCBs a month for various clients.

There are 3 main parts to our offerings : * Retro Tech * Product design services (from concept to prototype & full production), and * SMD & Through hole product assembly services.

For those playing along with yesterday's 'What's in the crate' post, the answer is: a new SMD pick and place machine. Most of you know Microbee Technology for our retro tech and are looking forward to our 2 new kit computers. However, retro tech is not the only thing we offer.

Designed a new dev board for RGB to HDMI and I2S sound based on the Lattice SII9022A and Crystal Semi CS4344. Needed to try these parts out before adding to our up-coming kit computers.
