This is authoritarianism, there's no other word for it. Banning books is literally textbook. The most egregious part to me is they're demanding she capitulate to the UK's arbitrary definition of terrorism despite her not even being British. The arm of colonialism remains strong.
Sally Rooney's books can no longer be sold in Britain due to her support for Palestine Action.
She refused to withdraw her support for the direct action group which targeted the Israeli arms industry, costing her the royalties from all of her UK sales.

I find it very hard to imagine any jury convicting someone sending them to prison for watching fake stepbrother porn, so all this is going to accomplish is wasting huge amounts of time and money clogging up the judicial system.
The British government is banning pornography that includes depictions of choking, incest & adults roleplaying as children.
The ban goes into place from November 6th.

Why would audiences be hyped about a tease for a future that was never going to happen? James Gunn altering The Flash ending to cut Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot was one of the worst executive decisions in DC history.
Instead of giving the DCEU a respectful sendoff or leaving fans hyped, they traded the core Trinity for a George Clooney gag that the general viewers flat-out rejected.
