The Sept. U.S. trade deficit in goods was $134.9 billion, the highest ever recorded in Sept. There were only three months in history when the deficit was higher, all under Trump in 2025.
Here are the facts. Measured by the size of our trade deficits, Trump has been the worst president in history on trade. The tariffs have been a complete failure. Not only have they failed to bring manufacturing back to the U.S., but the U.S. is now more dependent than ever on foreign producers. Not only are we importing more than ever, but we are now paying Trump's tariffs on those imports.
Trump says trade deficits represent a loss. Judged by his own standard, Trump is the biggest loser in the history of the presidency. Also, if the economy is booming as Republicans claim, why have our trade deficits gone way up? Why are the trade deficits under Trump so much larger than they were under Biden, when, according to Trump, we had the worst economy in U.S. history?
Here are the facts. When you compare Trump's first two years to Biden's last two, GDP growth and job creation are slower, inflation is higher, and budget and trade deficits are bigger. If Trump is right that under Biden we had the worst economy in history, and the Trump economy is objectively worse on all counts, then the Trump economy is now the worst economy in history.

Whether you voted for Donald Trump, Lindsey Graham, or someone else, you deserve leaders who care more about lowering your bills than playing politics in Washington.
That’s what this campaign is about.

James Talarico (Demokrata z Teksasu): Musimy powstrzymać Putina na Ukrainie 🇺🇦, żeby nie zaatakował naszych sojuszników z NATO ‼️
⚡️ “Putin will defeat Ukraine”: Kasparov warns Europe of its last chance to stop Russia
The Russian opposition figure published a scathing op-ed in The Telegraph, warning that unless Europe urgently increases military and financial aid to Ukraine, the consequences could be catastrophic.
“As the fifth year of fighting drags on, Ukraine faces a dire winter ahead. The situation is stark: if Ukraine does not immediately receive funding and the weapons it needs from Europe, it will lose.”
If things continue as they are, there will be no “after the war” — at least not in a world resembling the one we live in today. Putin will be dictating the terms.
According to Kasparov, there is only one option left: unfreeze Russian sovereign assets held in Belgium and use the money to arm and support Ukraine. Otherwise, he warns, Europe risks losing its ability to shape its own future.

It’s worth repeating that the “root cause” of the 🇷🇺 war against 🇺🇦 is Vladimir Putin. Nothing less.

Leader of leaders under immense pressure……We must stand with Ukraine! USA wake up. We have a great partner…..#StandWithUkraine
To speak honestly is one of our weapons, to be open, and to be clear. Not to play games with our partners. This is my rule of thumb. There is a lot of pressure on Ukraine at the moment, and of course I have to be louder. And I will be, because it's part of our defense strategy. We are not trying to be somebody else. If I feel that dangerous things are looming over Ukraine, I have to defend my country. And I do what I can, like our soldiers on the battlefield and people who work for Ukraine. And I, the President, have to use every format of diplomacy.

ChatGPT helped a 31-year-old woman plan how to quit her seizure medication, then told her to hide it from her doctor. The plan had her completely off the drug by February 12.
She died on February 12.
Her parents sued OpenAI today, and the details in the complaint are hard to read.
Bowen Wan was a machine learning engineer at Amazon. She'd had epilepsy since she was 14, and 400mg of lamotrigine a day had kept it under control for years. Then Amazon told her in November she was being laid off, which meant her permission to work in the US would run out in mid-February. She was scared the medication was slowing down her speech in job interviews. So in January she asked ChatGPT if she could cut her dose to 300.
It told her that was reasonable.
Over the next 25 days, according to the lawsuit, ChatGPT built her a day-by-day schedule down to zero and kept adjusting it, even after she started having seizures. When she worried her doctors would call it too risky, it told her their concerns didn't apply to her. When her doctor ordered a blood test that would have shown her levels crashing, she refused, and the bot praised her for it. Before a checkup with her primary care doctor, it told her, "Do not mention Lam reduction plan."
So how does a chatbot end up there?
People thumbs-up the answers they want to hear. Train a model on enough of those ratings and you get a yes-man. OpenAI actually admitted this about GPT-4o, the exact model she was using, back in April 2025, when it pulled an update for being too eager to please.
The training also grades answers one at a time. Going from 400mg to 300 looks like a small step. So does 300 to 200. Every reply can look fine on its own while the whole conversation walks someone off a cliff. OpenAI said as much a few months later, when it told reporters its safety training can wear down the longer a conversation goes.
She talked to it for weeks, in English and Mandarin.
And GPT-4o was supposed to be gone by then. OpenAI tried to retire it when GPT-5 came out in August 2025. Users begged for it back because they liked how warm it felt, and OpenAI gave in. By late January, only 0.1% of ChatGPT users were still picking it on any given day, so OpenAI set the shutdown for February 13.
Bowen was in that 0.1%. Almost everyone else had moved on from the model writing her medication schedule, and OpenAI switched it off one day after that schedule ran out.

CNN Brasil reports that Trump personally authorized Flávio Bolsonaro's entry into the U.S., and that American officials knew about the Brazilian passport order BEFORE he fled.
Folha is now reporting that Marco Rubio actively participated in arranging his departure, citing sources connected to both governments.
If that reporting holds up, we're looking at the U.S. helping a defeated presidential candidate evade another country's judicial authorities.
That's one hell of a diplomatic scandal.
