What everyone sees is an incredible throw. What few realize is that this throw would not have been possible had Renfroe- the right fielder- not been backing up on a base hit to straight-away center field. Backing up plays is not a skill, but an attitude.

If you’re an average player, you want to be left alone because you want to be able to slide by. If you’re a good player, you want to be coached. If you’re a great player, you want the coach to tell you the truth every day. —Nick Saban

Great rotation is created by a strong axis. A firm wrist lets the grip do the work. The wrist is angled 90° on the curve and 45° on the slider. No wrist snap, grip it hard, set your angle and throw it as hard as you can. He’s Flexen on these grips.

Players: If it's easy or comfortable, don't expect it to help you much. Real improvement is hard. It’s not pretty or fast. It’s getting out of your comfort zone daily. It’s hours of dedication & commitment, but the results you get, the confidence you build are worth every minute.

Three dudes “on time” and ready to go forwards, backwards, laterally, or diagonally to field a rocket! Notice the 3rd baseman...how he is starting lower than SS or 2B. #MakingPlays

When you tell your pitcher to stride longer, reach out further but stay balanced and use your lower half. @LantzWheeler

Dfference for Shaun at 87 and 90..(thread) How he sets up pelvis into foot strike changes how he creates whip, arm speed. Bottom (3/2) - Better sit, riding slope, sequencing into foot strike. Leads to hips being “finished” quicker. Left leg appears to have better “block”... – at Carmel, IN

Velocity KILLER: Watch for THIS⤵️ The center mass drifting forward after release. Effects arm efficiency, velocity and arm health. Often caused from pitchers intent to: 1. Triple extension back leg 2. Attempt to block front leg 3. Squatting vs hinging
