It was a pleasure to have @MinteerLab visit at @UArkansas Chemistry & Biochemistry today. Thanks for the engaging science and for taking the time to inspire and advise our students - sorry to the folks who left before the photo!
Many thanks to Prof. Bo Zhang (@UWChemistry) for sharing his advice with our graduate students today. Looking forward to his seminar later today.
Thanks to all the @Warwick_Echem alumni and friends that were able to virtually join in celebrating @Patrick_Unwin's election as a Fellow of @royalsociety & to run 5K. Great to see so many faces from all over the world and from so many different eras together at one time.
Congratulations to our talented graduate student Mosi @Mostafa_9775 on being awarded the Barrett S. and Peggy S. Duff Doctoral Fellowship in Chemistry, awarded by the department of Chemistry, in @uarkfulbright. Just reward for his hard work and dedication.
These rockstars crushed in the @electroanalysis student session at @Pittcon . The morning just flew by. The future of electrochemistry is in good hands. Thanks @Kristen_Alanis for the photo
Grad student Mosi's hard work paid off, winning 1st prize in the @UArkansas @3MT_official competition. His presentation on electrochem. for eco-friendly concrete production (collab w/ @Matt_Glasscott, @ArmyERDC), clearly communicated his high-quality science to a general audience
(1/2)After a challenging week, nothing beats watching your mentees excel. @materia1013 crushed his group meeting presentation on a challenging topic, members gave supportive constructive feedback and demonstrated their e'chem chops, Mostafa (Mosi) Mahmoudi wins 3-MT 1st prize...
It was our pleasure to host @DickLab_Purdue at @UArkansas for the last couple of days. Thanks for being such a good sport and engaging with all the students. Sorry for the back of head shot, but it was the only way to show how engaged they were.
Replying to @Lydia_Kisley
I include this in our analytical chemistry class, but it was a first when I showed some colleagues.
PS: If you like Anscombe's quartet, have you seen the datasaurus dozen?! Again, same stats (means, SDs, correlation, ...). Original ref. (I think): autodesk.com/research/public…
