We do love a dissection here in science, today we had beautiful mackerel and salmon heads from @yorksseafoods to investigate gills with our yr 12s, and there was time to look at fish eyes and hearts as well. 🐟

Our BTEC students have been looking at the diffusion of food colouring through agar, it's the first time we've used this method but it worked really well as well as being quite beautiful!
