Climb a mountain and the world changes around you. So do the moths.
But @pritha126 found a twist: even as the species composition changes, their overall traits remain the same.

📢In our new paper, we found that diurnal moths have larger hearing organs! And it is not allometric to their body size!
Using 3D micro CT imaging, we asked how different predation pressure shape the morphology of
ultrasound receiving organs

Head to the @inStem_India Atrium for the German #Energiewende travelling exhibition, and visit #LabCulture too!
Energiewende is on from 18th-23rd November, 2019, but you can catch the research showcased in #LabCulture till January!
What is the #Energiewende exhibition? It draws out the challenges of #RenewableEnergy & showcases the solutions Germany is working towards. It will also focus on how renewable energy is #affordable & economically #sustainable even for developing nations!
We had a massive group of about 400 students from Euro School, North Bangalore visit #LabCulture : tracing the making of a collective this week. Their questions and enthusiasm for biology were great to behold!
Glimpses of their visit to the exhibition.
