Nobody playing Melee at the venue this morning. I see a man dressed as Ness playing Brawl alone. Feeling charitable I ask him if he wants to play. He says no.

Wow we got MMS reveals but they lowkey suck, I expected better from a Premium Bandai set... Monster X is still as unpainted as the standard release, and I guess Blue Flame Goji looks alright but I dont care for that look at all. Man.

Genuinely heartbroken. The new Godzilla short uses ai for a shot, what an actual spit in the face to the actual Tokusatsu within the same short, but to Godzillas legacy of practical filmmaking & human creativity. Legitimately has killed all my hype for this short, Thanks Toho

This guy makes a good point about the western critical reception of Godzilla films only to completely destroy their own point in the process. Oops!

This was always so weird, because why did non-cartoons always depict video games better than the show’s catered to kids? Lmao

Kaiju fans will constantly talk down on showa era kaiju films like they’re embarrassed they like them and then meanwhile John Carpenter or Scorsese every few months will just be like “I am very fond of War Of The Gargantuas, another masterpiece from genius visionary Ishirō Honda”

How would you guys feel if Akiyo Iyoku got the Manga rights as well? Who knows it may or may not happen 👀🤔
Epik (@EpikEpikson) profile pictureEpik@EpikEpikson5h
Maybe I'm coping but with the destruction of Bird Studio and DBS/SD/Divers being removed from Jump Festa Could it be that maybe Iyoku actually won the manga rights, which is why Shueisha removed it? Or Shueisha getting "revenge" against DB cuz of Iyoku? Or just a coincidence?

Maybe Dragon Ball is slowly becoming independent of Shueisha. Franchise is now almost on par with Shueisha in annual revenue while Shueisha itself isn't growing much. Dragon Ball has grown big enough to stand on its own Even in franchise value, DB could surpass Shueisha by 2030.

• Goku gets removed from Jump festa main visual • DBS gets replaced with "Metaphor: ReFantazio" at the Jump Original Art World zone of Jump Festa 2027 • Super Divers and DBSD also get removed from Jump Festa 2027 Shueisha has practically cut out almost all of DB content from this year’s JF. Seems like things are finally happening behind the scenes between officials 👀

Biggest stain on this short it pissed me off so bad It's literally just two shots and both are entirely unnecessary, I'm probably going to literally just make a cut of it with both removed at this point for personal viewing.
