عقدت سفارة دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة لدى اليابان ندوة بعنوان التقاليد والتراث والثقافة في دولة الإمارات ضمن سلسلة الندوات الثقافية لتاريخ دولة الإمارات بالتعاون مع الدكتورة جوتو من جامعة إكستير. تم تسليط الضوء على الحرف اليدوية في دولة الإمارات ما قبل الاتحاد حتى يومنا هذا.
