Discussed the concept of an Aero press style device for turning chocolate bars into hot chocolate...
Gemini came up with an idea, so I asked for a picture... The picture looked nothing like what it waffled about, but it did make a ceramic mug with a glass cut away...

“There’s a war on!” I notice the word ‘war’ increasingly in the Russian press, though officially Moscow still refers to its ‘special military operation’ in Ukraine. In today’s papers: enemies, drone attacks & what may become “the longest investment crisis in modern Russian history.” #ReadingRussia

Finding Andrew: The Kiwi hero killed in Ukraine 🇺🇦🇳🇿
Dr Andrew Bagshaw, a New Zealander, travelled to Ukraine in 2022 to do something extraordinary: save people trapped in towns and cities under Russian attack.
He rescued more than 500 people before disappearing during another dangerous humanitarian mission. He put his own life on the line to save strangers — people he had never met, but whose lives mattered to him.
In Finding Andrew, award-winning investigative documentary maker Bryan Bruce retraces Andrew’s steps and uncovers a deeply troubling story.
The Ukrainian people will always be grateful to Andrew for choosing not to watch Russia’s war against Ukraine from the safety of Christchurch, 17,000 kilometres away, but to come to Ukraine and help those whose lives were at risk.
Andrew’s story is a powerful reminder that even in the darkest moments of war, there are people who choose courage, compassion and humanity over indifference.
🎥 Please watch and share Finding Andrew.

There's a current election in New Zealand.
Regardless of election results. New Zealand citizens in Ukraine have a over whelming request of a consulate to be established in Ukraine.
Regardless of policy we do wish to establish a better relationship with our state. #nzpol

And then there were 75 . . .
Kiwi K.A.R.E. has just delivered its 75th ambulance (81 vehicles in total) into service in Ukraine.
The latest six are not new vehicles. They are decommissioned (end of economic life) ambulances on a new mission - to save lives in the red zones.
We are deeply grateful to @StJohnNZ for their continued support and trust in Kiwi K.A.R.E to provide a professional service in reaching the most vulnerable Ukrainians.
The latest convoy covered 2,200 km from Ostend, Belgium, to Kyiv without incident. My sincere thanks to my Polish friends who dedicated their time and driving skill to get them through safely.
Thank you also to Ambassador Paul Ballantine for meeting us in @NZinWarsaw - your support and encouragement means a great deal.
After four and a half years, our work continues because thousands of New Zealanders refuse to look away. Your support is what keeps these vehicles moving and our operational tempo high.
If you can, help us keep the ambulances on the road by clicking on this link to donate: givealittle.co.nz/cause/kiwi…
