💯 Not just because i'm Indie myself but the books i've been reading are next level. 😎
Take a chance on an indie author. Don't look at how many reviews they do or do not have. Take a chance. You might actually be surprised and wind up loving it.

One thing traditional publishing does is teach you just how much you can take. I've had dreams crushed so many times, told myself "if this one doesn't make it, I'm done", have had the absolute worst case scenario happen, and I'm still out here and still writing anyway

Welp, that's book 2 down... Forget about Carl’s doomsday scenario, the way that this series has completely taken over my life is MY doomsday scenario… and yet I am not even mad about it. I would die for Princess Donut (& Mongo) 🥹❤️ Full gush review 🔗⬇️

16 years today since #DavidGemmell died. We miss you, Big Man, and all the books you would have written.

A reminder of one of the most beautiful etymologies out there: the 'pupil' of the eye is named after the Latin 'pupilla', little doll' - because when we look into the eyes of another, we see a tiny, doll-like reflection of ourselves.

#PitchDHH: We're Going Virtual. A pandemic will not stop us from meeting writers. Whilst we may not be able to head back on the road this year we've decided to throw open DHH’s doors over the medium of Zoom/Microsoft Teams/Skype. dhhliteraryagency.com/news/p… Open Now!
Coming out of my maze and I've been doing just fine 😢

A lot of people don’t know the difference between the Holy Roman Empire and the Roman Empire. Well, the Holy Roman Empire is what Robin calls the Roman Empire when he’s talking to Batman.

The whimsically named ‘Edinburgh of the Seven Seas’ is the most remote permanent settlement on earth, about 1300 miles from the almost-as-remote bleakness of St Helena, and 6500 miles from actual Edinburgh. It survives through quirks of history and some questionable logic... 1/

Just had a very weird experience in the Post Office. It's not funny or amusing. Just weird. There's no humorous ending or anything like that, it was just...odd. So anyway, I'm standing in the Post Office, with about 5 parcels to mail, and I've been in there for about 20 mins.
