Nothing but love for @solesupremacy and @RIFLA , so this shouldn’t be taken out of context, but there aren’t many non–owner-operated sneaker shops thriving. For brands & business’ that don’t have that owner in house to save a 6 figure management role, they “trend hop” to keep up with the overhead. This is no different than artist who make music for the artistry, and artist who make music for the charts. Props to both.
This could be way off but shout out to @RIFLA and US 🤣 for always staying true to sneakers. We started our businesses with just a passion for sneakers and with the hopes of making enough money to continue. All these new “resellers/shops” just hop on the next trend.

. @Raphkicksllc is a good friend. But let me jump in on this topic. The reseller with no overhead will always find a way to make their month when a decent release hits the market. But the overall economic status of the industry of high volume sneaker selling is on CPR. As someone who’s quietly done over 100M’s in GMV the past 2.5 years I can speak on the topic that if you don’t adjust or pivot at the higher scale; you’re getting crushed or will be soon,
Sneakers are dead? 😂😂😂

To become a successful reseller you have to be able to take losses. It's going to happen. I see too many people stuck on what they paid as the end all be all price of lowest they will take. It doesn't work that way.

Most businesses OD on outdated e-commerce tools that just take your money. Protect your brand with @shopxlabs web3 tools made for e-commerce. Turn products into digital assets with the $SHOPX #RWA bridge. Watch customer engagement increase! SHOPX is next-gen commerce.

Is @Delta the only airline to rebrand Turbulence into “Rough Air” recently?

Obviously I favor charging because I own a store myself. But there are variables. One non variable is the actual time of doing a swap in the inventory system, printing new labels, restocking box, displaying new pair on floor etc. May seem simple, but there is time and labor associated to the process. Variables would be incoming pair being of more or less than market value of the pair going out. If the pair incoming is worth less than there’s a high chance cost of goods is higher and would need to offset that cost with some sort of fee. If the incoming pair is worth more, it’s good business to make the fee as close to 0 for customer experience, just comes down to if store buyer feels the new size isn’t a harder sell.
I’ve never understood why some people think Size Swaps should be free but if you’d like to drop an explanation i’m open ears
