If I had to wager, I’d say Ratcliffe is in Moscow to warn about Russian escalation against Europe/NATO. Linked to U.S. intelligence shared with Poles, Balts and Scandinavians, and comes amid a noticeable uptick in suspected GRU sabotage operations and Russian drone activity. See Germany, Bulgaria, Romania, etc. You don't need DCIA for prisoner swaps. Ratcliffe is also the most pro-Ukraine official in the administration, responsible for helping Kyiv with deep strikes. Context here is important: Bill Burns went to Moscow in 2021 to warn Putin against... invading Ukraine.

Friends, do not fall under the influence of Russian propaganda. They identify the most painful points within society and amplify them a hundredfold. It would be foolish to deny that we have problems. We do — with mobilization, with corruption, with incompetent commanders. These problems exist, and in wartime they only become more visible. But Russian propaganda has no equals. They take real facts — facts that would be pointless to dispute — and multiply them many times over. It is the old KGB tactic: layer lie upon lie, using real facts only to distort and inflate them.
But there is one important point. Open your history books and name a single country at war where people, instead of sinking into despair, adapt to extraordinary realities and continue living. Look at it through the lens of Russian propaganda: some are fighting, while others are sitting in a café in Lviv. Yes, they are. Those who have the legal right to rest. Instead of leaving the country, they choose to travel within Ukraine.
Let me remind you: the war began in February 2022. Is it good or bad that life continues? Imagine a soldier arriving in Lviv for a short leave. He already carries more than enough negativity. What does he see? Mourning and white flags? Talks of capitulation? No. He sees a society that continues to live. There is no historical analogue to this. Ukraine is alive. Alive — and it will continue to live

When Baron Friedrich von Steuben arrived at Valley Forge, he found an army on the edge of collapse and turned it into a force that could stand against an empire. He did it not with speeches or glory, but by teaching men how to survive and fight with discipline and purpose.
That is the same kind of work our team does here in Ukraine. We are not here for praise or attention. We are here because every soldier who shows up deserves a fair chance to survive. They deserve training that prepares them for the reality they will face, not the fantasy someone wishes existed.
We see men arrive scared, unsure and carrying the weight of their families on their backs. We watch them learn, grow and find confidence in themselves and in their teams. That is why we stay. Not for numbers or credit, but for the faces we remember and the lives that depend on getting it right.
Our team does this quietly, honestly and with full commitment. No politics. No glory. Just the belief that helping someone come home alive is worth every hour we put in.
This is our responsibility. This is our duty. And we will keep doing it.

BREAKING: After talking to @SecRubio, @SenatorRounds announces that the 28 point plan was a Russian document, not a US document.
Full @SenatorRounds: "@SecRubio did make a phone call to us this afternoon. I think he made it very clear to us that we are the recipients of a proposal that was delivered to one of our representatives. It is not our recommendation, it is not our peace plan. It is a proposal that was received. And as an intermediary, we have made arrangements to share it. And we did not release it. It was leaked. It was not released by our members or our representatives... This is an opportunity to receive it and that it has been utilized and delivered to the Ukrainians, and that they will have an opportunity to respond. And in doing so, you now have one side being presented and the opportunity for the other side to respond."

Dear Ukraine,
I apologize. I’m sorry my country elected someone who works for Putin. Someone who’s on Putin’s side. As long as he is President, America won’t stand with you. Just know tho, that most Americans DO stand with you.
Best,

I’ll help those poor souls who deliberately pretend they can’t put two and two together:
You can be a thousand times Russian-speaking and even consider yourself ethnically Russian with a Russian surname (which is rare, since Russian-speaking residents of Ukraine have always considered themselves Ukrainians) and still be an inseparable part of the European Ukrainian nation, its values, and its vision of the future — and couldn’t care less about the plague that comes with the filth of Putin’s cesspit.
That is why, for instance, in 2014 the main centers of volunteer battalions were the “entirely Russian-speaking” Dnipro and Kharkiv.
Because this is about values, common sense, and our choice of a free, European Ukraine — a country that is native to us, familiar, organic, and in which we are an inseparable and active part of its building and defense.
This is our country, our future, our values.
As for your Gulag-style plague barracks and your deranged tsar — you can keep them to yourselves in your Russia.
And as an originally Russian-speaking guy from Donbas, Sasha From Russia can shove the money she gets for this cheap anti-Ukrainian propaganda for the West right up her ass.

The rescued soldiers jokingly call them real "angels in medical gowns". These are those who instantly react on the battlefield, preventing the wound from becoming fatal. These are those who, risking themselves, evacuate under fierce shelling and in conditions of constant threat from enemy drones. They are the ones who restore breathing and provide qualified medical care where others would give up.
Today, July 27, we celebrate Medical Worker Day. In the 37th Marine Brigade, we deeply respect the professionalism, resilience and incredible dedication of our medics. They save our soldiers every day, giving them the most valuable thing - life and the opportunity to hug their loved ones again.
From the roar of the battlefield to the silence of the operating room - our medics are always there. They know the price of every second and every decision. Their work is a continuous stream of struggle: for recovery, for health, for the future of each of our soldiers. This is round-the-clock dedication and incredible fortitude. Thank you for your daily feat, for every life saved, for the hope and faith you give. Happy Medical Worker's Day!
And continue to support them with LUkraine asbl and @MKitchellAR with fundraising for bring to them ambulance and equipment !

From Mark❤️💪:"Today I am launching fundraising to purchase a used ambulance to deliver to Ukrainian first responders in the Medical Detachment of the 37th Ukrainian Marine Brigade, who are currently engaged in heavy combat at the front line in Donbas.
I will personally deliver this ambulance to Ukraine in late August. This project is part of LUkraine asbl UKRAINE IS CALLING project. I am working with my friend, and a real Ukrainian Marine Tatou Ania Ania is an amazing person, who has been volunteering in Ukraine since 2022, and in 2025, became an official (under contract) soldier with the Ukrainian Marines. She was born in Poland (to Ukrainian parents) during the times of the Chernobyl disaster with only one leg and is TIRELESS in her work for Ukraine’s victory. You can read more about her here: COURAGE KNOWS NO PASSPORT ON THE UKRAINIAN FRONT (see link in the comments below).
Ambulances donated to Ukraine SAVE LIVES! Data from the Ministry of Health indicates each ambulance saves 250 lives on average, before being destroyed. This will be the 4th ambulance I have personally driven to Ukraine, and the 2nd one financed by my personal/professional networks.
As a certified public interest NGO in Luxembourg, LUkraine ensures 100% of donations go directly to the ambulance and supplies. I'll personally cover all travel expenses and document the journey to demonstrate our unwavering support for Ukraine. Your donation will directly save lives and make a real difference in this critical conflict"
