💻 TECH THURSDAY: HOW ISRAEL BUILT A MISSILE THAT CAN INTERCEPT BALLISTIC MISSILES IN SPACE
Born out of Cold War-era cooperation between Israel and the United States, the Arrow missile defense system has evolved over nearly four decades from an experimental concept into one of the highest layers of Israel’s missile-defense network.
This deep dive traces the story from Arrow 1 and the lessons of Saddam Hussein’s Scud attacks, through Arrow 2, to Arrow 3, designed to destroy incoming ballistic missiles through direct collision beyond Earth’s atmosphere.

Asked if he regrets going to war against Iran, Trump replied:
“I think it’s one of the greatest things we’ve done.”
🚨 CANADA AND TÜRKİYE DEEPEN DEFENCE TIES
Because apparently Ottawa looked at Erdoğan’s Türkiye and thought: exactly the partner we need more closely tied into Western defence.
Canada and Türkiye are expanding military and defence-industrial cooperation, including potential work in aerospace, drones and naval technology.
NATO gets more interesting by the day.

🚨 IRANIAN RIAL PLUNGES TO NEW RECORD LOW
Iran’s currency has reportedly collapsed to a record low of 2.73 million rials per US dollar, breaking three weeks of relative stability between 2.6 million and 2.7 million.

Elon Musk:
There's a limit to what any single human can consume. You hit that saturation point pretty fast.
Going from a billion dollars in net worth to $10 billion doesn't make you ten times happier or mean you have ten times more stuff.
It actually means you've got a resource allocation problem.
🚨 NY LEADERS WARN ANTI-ZIONIST GROUP OVER JEWISH EVENTS
Rep. Ritchie Torres and three Bronx officials warned Pal-Awda ahead of a planned Saturday protest in Riverdale targeting an Israel-linked event.
“The Bronx will not tolerate it,” they declared, condemning efforts to intimidate Jewish families.
🇮🇱🇮🇳 ISRAELI TRIBUTE TO OUR INDIAN HERO & PM
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he spoke with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and invited him to light a torch at Israel’s Independence Day ceremony alongside the Indian pilot hailed as a hero for helping save the Flydubai flight.
Netanyahu said Modi praised the courage shown during the incident and stressed that Israel and India “fight terrorism together” — on the ground and in the air.

🚨 NETANYAHU: WE SHUTTERED UK CONSULATE SO “THEY KNOW WE MEAN BUSINESS”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Britain was “absolutely shocked” by Israel’s decision to downgrade the UK consulate in Jerusalem following London’s sanctions targeting Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.
“The days when Jews can be intimidated or led to the slaughter, and then receive all the vilifications that come with appeasement — those days are over.”
“I speak up for the Jewish people.”
You do not need to be a body language expert to see she is REALLY uncomfortable.
🚨 ILHAN OMAR “NOT SURE” IF SHE MARRIED HER BROTHER?
Asked directly whether she was related at all to former husband Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, Omar initially denied the longstanding allegation — then added an extraordinary qualifier:
“Not to my knowledge.”
That is a remarkably less categorical answer than simply saying, “No, we are not related.”
NOTE: This was Omar’s first major public interview after federal agents searched her Washington home in an immigration-fraud investigation that could potentially have consequences for her citizenship. Omar denies wrongdoing.
If this interview was meant to put the controversy behind her, “not to my knowledge” is unlikely to end the questions.
🚨 ISRAELI ACTIVISTS BLOCK AID TRUCKS HEADING INTO GAZA
Members of the Tsav 9 movement blocked trucks carrying humanitarian aid into Gaza on Thursday, prompting police to move in and clear the protesters.
Tsav 9 spokesperson Yael Sabrigo said the group believes the aid is helping Hamas enrich itself and rebuild its strength.
“We are here to stop this madness and demand one clear thing: the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip and the complete dismantling of Hamas.”
❓ MOSSADIL ASKS: IS NETANYAHU THE CHURCHILL OF THE 21ST CENTURY?
Brig. Gen. (Res.) Amir Avivi @Amir_Avivi says the comparison is more than rhetorical.
Both Churchill and Netanyahu, he argues, faced existential wars while trying to bring a reluctant United States into the fight.
Avivi says Netanyahu ultimately succeeded in bringing the U.S. into the battle against Iran.

❓ MOSSADIL ASKS: HAS ISRAEL FINALLY CHANGED ITS NATIONAL SECURITY DOCTRINE?
Brig. Gen. (Res.) Amir Avivi @Amir_Avivi, former senior IDF officer and founder of the Israel Defense and Security Forum, says Israel is entering a fundamentally different security era.
Avivi says the new doctrine rests on several core principles: Israel must be able to defend itself by itself, restore domestic weapons production, rebuild national spirit and Zionist identity, strengthen settlement and sovereignty, and above all — stop waiting for enemies to grow stronger before acting.
His message is simple:
“Don’t wait. Don’t let your enemies build their capabilities. Be proactive on an everyday basis.”
Avivi also argues that Israel’s defense establishment spent decades drifting away from a victory-oriented mindset, and that October 7 forced a profound reassessment of how Israel thinks about deterrence, military leadership and national security.
The full conversation covers Iran, the IDF, the “deep state,” Netanyahu, Trump, Western decline and why Avivi believes Israel may now be on the verge of a new “golden age.”

🚨 THE ABDUL EL-SAYED STORY JUST GOT MUCH HARDER TO DISMISS
The New York Times is now reporting that Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed signed a 2012 letter supporting Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi’s “revolutionary decisions” during the Muslim Brotherhood’s brief rule of Egypt.
The letter called on Morsi to “purge the media and the police as quickly as possible.”
It was published just days after Morsi issued a sweeping decree shielding his decisions from judicial review — a move condemned at the time as an authoritarian power grab.
El-Sayed has denied having ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, and his campaign declined to answer the Times’ questions about the letter.
At some point, the question becomes unavoidable:
How many documented connections does it take before voters are entitled to start asking whether there is a pattern?

🚨 IRAN’S SHADOW FLEET IS OFFICIALLY OUT OF OIL
The Wall Street Journal reports that Iran has now exhausted the millions of barrels of crude it had stored aboard shadow-fleet tankers in Asian waters — reserves that had helped Tehran keep oil revenue flowing despite the U.S. blockade.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent predicted earlier this month that Iran would soon have “no oil on the water.”
Now, according to the WSJ, that prediction has effectively materialized.
The Trump administration’s blockade and economic pressure campaign has cut deeply into one of Tehran’s most important revenue streams.
