DAVID BOWIE IN "STAGE" TRAILER “I never thought I’d need so many people....” The headline hints at the content of this post, yes, it’s the trailer for Brett Morgen’s long-awaited film: DAVID BOWIE IN "STAGE". Do you recognize yourself among the parade of fans? If so, please make yourself known here. One of the aforementioned was outed by today’s Guardian piece. A 17-year-old Mark Adams (AKA Total Blam Blam) of this parish. Where did the time go? #DAVIDBOWIEINSTAGE

Ryu Murakami left behind one of the greatest bodies of literary work of any writer this generation. Almost Transparent Blue and In the Miso Soup are two of my favorite novels ever. More than any other writer, Murakami’s work had a hard boiled literary reportage even as the the content embraced aspects of surrealism and weird fiction. Furthermore, he wrote in a style that shunned flowery prose in favor of a pared down but highly physical intensity that channeled the feeling of the best thriller movies. One of a kind writer, I’ll miss him. theguardian.com/books/2026/o…
