I am not mad, but very sad I will not be able to teach any real Macro to my students this year. In order to get there, I would have to fit 3 weeks worth of traditional class into 2 virtual classes. 😶

My friend just negotiated $1000 off her rent. Check out the sales tax receipts for SF as laborers seek lower cost housing and affordability with the rise of telecommuting. sfchronicle.com/business/art…

#Enron, you ricocheting power out again? bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

As California Grid Buckles, It Faces Worst Heat in 70 Years

The U.S. West Coast is set to have its hottest two weeks in 70 years, putting even more strain on power grids after California imposed rolling blackouts for the first time since 2001.

I am incredibly honored to be the San Pasqual ASB Advisor for the 2020-2021 school year. It is an interesting year to start- but I'm looking forward to cultivating leaders and using our creativity for positive change in our school and community! #SanPasqualHS #MoreThanASchool

This year my student's AP scores went down 15% & participation rate was down 20%. However, over 70% of the kids took the test & 3 of every 4 kids received credit. Considering the socioeconomic disadvantages and emotional struggles, I couldn't have asked for more. Very proud 💙💛

Economics is a social science because it analyzes people and society, not just numbers and math. Systemic racism is an economic problem. One that we discussed in class in Unit 5 (the labor market) and Unit 6 (the unfair distribution of wealth). youtu.be/YrHIQIO_bdQ

Today I should have been celebrating graduation w/ my seniors & their families. Instead, I had to strip my entire classroom down. I cried, but it was cathartic too. Congrats class of 2020. See you in the future for the real ceremony! 💛💙🦅 Once and Eagle, Always an Eagle.
