my 84 year old auntie called me to ask "who the fine white man was at the DNC because he seems like he could've really been good for America". I choked back my laughter real bad and told her softly, "he was great for America. And Black women loved him".
She asked for his name and like clockwork I replied, "Grant. Fitzgerald Grant, I believe". She said, "damn, his name even SOUNDS important" and then she let out a Baptist MMMmmmmMmm. told her somebody tried to kill him once. then I stopped because I could barely breathe at this point and she started damning them to hell intently.
and I don't know if she'll ever find out, but I haven't laughed that hard in months after she hung up. I know I'm wrong. But, I did it for US. I did it for the United States of America.
Chile..I’ve been sister g here for 90 minutes listening to the opening for this Conference WAITING on the keynote who apparently had plane issues so they aren’t coming. HOW ANNOYING
At a conference and they are SOOOOO INEFFICIENT!! Listen..when you have different vendors PLEASE have everyone on the same page!! OMG……
