Eli Ramirez was flashing "closer" qualities all over the OSU mound again yesterday with a fastball in the 95-96 range, a tight breaking ball, and the "get your ass in the box" mentality that he has always carried himself with. Very Brendan McCurry-ish This dude is good...That is All! #GoPokes #OkState

Okay, seriously... listen very carefully! Remember the name, Eli Ramirez. I have personal experience with this one, and I'm telling you, this kid has IT. He hit 96 on his first pitch of Fall scrimmages on Saturday. And I know this from first-hand knowledge, he's one competitive sumbeach. And he's a tremendous athlete, like crazy explosive athlete, and he wrestled in high school, which all fits what he is. Definite power arm, right mental makeup, with the potential to be a dominant high-leverage power arm at the back end of games. I am SUPER pumped about this dude! He committed to OU, eventually ended up at Murray State JC, and I'm very glad he landed at OSU. Honestly, I didn't recognize him because I hadn't seen him since he was 15. But then he threw his first pitch, and I was like, who the $%#$ is that? Then when I found out who he was, I was like, OH, that makes sense. #GoPokes #OkState

How's that for a pinch hit AB?!? 🤯 #BirdsUp🤙 | #LetsGo210
