Yesterday, I had the honour of visiting the Shola Quarters community, where a large number of women convened a special gathering to express their support and solidarity for my aspiration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The engagement served as an avenue to strengthen my bond with the women of Shola Quarters and to emphasize the significance of unity and active community participation in driving development and building a prosperous future.
It also provided an opportunity to foster better understanding and to deliberate on the essence of purposeful representation and continued partnership between leaders and the led.
I sincerely appreciate the warm reception and unwavering support.

Innalillahi Wa’inna Ilaihi Raji’un
I am saddened by the tragic death of Sheikh Yahaya Masussuka, a respected Islamic cleric and advocate of peaceful coexistence and interfaith harmony.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, the Muslim community, and all those affected by this painful loss. I assure the people of Katsina that a thorough investigation will be conducted to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice.
I urge our people to remain calm, cooperate with security agencies, and uphold peace during this difficult time.
May Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and comfort his family, students and loved ones. Ameen.

Tongues Wagging As Dankwambo’s Name Appears On Gombe APC Campaign List
Political reactions have trailed the appearance of former Gombe State Governor, Senator Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, on the All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign council list, despite his continued association with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Dankwambo’s name reportedly appeared on the APC’s 666-member campaign council list and its 66-member advisory council ahead of the 2027 general elections, raising questions about his political allegiance.
The former governor, who represents Gombe North in the Senate, is reportedly seeking re-election under the PDP platform.
His inclusion on the list has generated confusion among political stakeholders and supporters in Gombe State, particularly because no confirmed announcement has been made regarding his defection to the APC.
However, the Gombe State chapter of the PDP has dismissed the list as fake, insisting that Dankwambo was unaware of the purported appointment.
In a statement, the party urged its members and supporters to disregard the publication, describing it as an attempt to create confusion within its ranks.
The development has also drawn attention to the political contest in Gombe State ahead of the 2027 elections, with the ruling APC and opposition PDP preparing for the forthcoming polls.
As of Monday, October 26, 2026, Dankwambo had yet to publicly clarify his position regarding the reported inclusion.

KTSG Invests N4bn in Youth Craft Village as Graduates Rise by 157%
…Ex-gov Shema Lauds Radda, Says KYCV Graduate Now HOD in FCT Administration
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has graduated 1,662 trainees of the Katsina Youth Craft Village and provided them with start-up packs to establish businesses.
The Governor, who spoke at the second graduation ceremony held on Monday at Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina, said the figure represents a 156.79 per cent increase from 648 graduates recorded at the maiden edition.
"When this administration came into office, we made a commitment under our Building Your Future Agenda to prioritise youth empowerment, skills acquisition and job creation. We promised to transform our young people from job seekers into job creators," Radda said.
He said his administration has invested over N4bn in renovating, upgrading and equipping the centre with modern machines and tools to meet industry standards.
"We do not believe in simply issuing certificates and sending our graduates home without the means to put their training into practice. That is why we are providing them with start-up tools and equipment to enable them to establish their businesses," he said.
Radda said the graduates were trained in over 15 trades, including tailoring, welding and fabrication, carpentry, electrical installation, ICT, catering, cosmetology, plumbing and automobile repairs.
He disclosed that a modern innovation hub and innovation desk have been established at the centre to promote creativity and technological advancement.
The governor, who described vocational education as critical to tackling unemployment, announced plans to establish additional training centres across the 34 local government areas of the state.
"Our target is to train and empower more than 5,000 young people through vocational training initiatives before the end of our tenure," he said.
He added that the State Enterprise Development Agency has supported over 60,000 beneficiaries through various enterprise development programmes.
"I urge you not to sell your start-up packs. Use them to establish your businesses, grow your enterprises and create employment opportunities for others," Radda told the graduands.
In his remarks, former Governor Ibrahim Shehu Shema said KYCV was established during his administration to equip youths, especially from rural communities, with practical skills.
"The importance of technical and vocational education cannot be overemphasised. It provides young people with practical skills to become self-reliant, establish businesses and contribute meaningfully to society," Shema said.
He said the institution had attracted trainees from across Nigeria and neighbouring Niger Republic, adding that he once met a KYCV graduate who had risen to become Head of Department in the Federal Capital Territory Administration.
Earlier, the KYCV Coordinator, Kabir Abdullahi Kofar Soro, said the graduation marked a milestone in youth empowerment, noting the sharp rise in graduates from 648 to 1,662.

“Them don employ finish”
“This one na for family and friends”
“This is Nigeria. Recruitments are scam”
Na like this people got NNPC, Customs, FIRS leaving pessimistic people with their negative energy.
All that this costs is data and time. Nothing more. You stand to lose nothing for trying your luck.
Worst is rejection. And who died because of that?

Modern AI-generated images can be virtually indistinguishable from authentic ones, so definitive calls from visuals alone are often impossible. This aerial shot of the Kaduna APC flag-off shows consistent lighting, detailed real buildings, natural crowd density along roads, and vehicles matching news reports of overflows onto Independence Way. No obvious artifacts. Looks real given the confirmed event.
