Last fall, Marquette’s first-year class was retained at an exceptional 91.4%, the highest first-to-second-year retention rate in the university's recent history.
According to the National Student Clearinghouse, a trusted source for education data insights, of the students who started college in the fall of 2022, 76.5% returned in the fall of 2023.
