The antisemitism envoy told the Royal Commission that Gaza’s death toll was “grossly inflated” and that the UN accepted this. The UN said otherwise. When I asked she said she “notes” the UN’s views.

Great news 👏🏼 Western Australia will become the first state in the country to legalise plug-in solar panels and batteries. Now what about NSW? watoday.com.au/national/west…

In one of the sunniest countries on Earth, and a world leader in rooftop solar, millions of Australian renters are still locked out because they don’t own the roof over their heads. This needs to change. #renterswantsolartoo thenewdaily.com.au/opinion/2…

Older people have been saying this for months. Labor's automation of aged care assessments has been a disaster, under-assessing need and priority, denying care and driving up waitlists. It's past time to bin the whole thing and put humans back in charge of decision-making.

“People are demanding action on rents, the cost of the climate emergency and about how we can bring people's bills down and yet what we're about to see is just the same old.” Hannah Spencer on the government's approach to Wednesday's Budget, speaking at the Cost of Living rally.

It's time to get big corporate money out of Victorian politics. Today, the Victorian Greens are announcing our election commitment to establish a lobbyist register and ban political donations from gambling corporations, fossil fuel companies and property developers.

If One Nation bans journalists from attending their press conferences the simple solutions is for all media organisations to unite to boycott them. #democracymatters
Join the call for Australia’s media companies to stand together by refusing to cover One Nation events until the access issue is resolved. Media companies should be insisting that One Nation accepts the attendance of ALL accredited journalists, not just the ones it perceives as unquestioning or supportive. We need a robust liberal democracy ... not a Trumpian perversion. abcfriends.au/actions/boycot…

Home Affairs is negotiating to share Australians’ data with Trump’s US government. Did they tell the US it can’t go to Palantir? Doesn't sound like it from this!

AI companies say their products can cure cancer, take us to Mars, but apparently not respect the copyright of artists and creators... that just doesn't add up. Maybe the Minister isn't afraid but artists and others are!

As First Nations spokesperson for the Greens I'm deeply concerned that the NT Govt has cancelled funding to the Bush Bus and cut whole communities off - I'm calling on the Federal Government to follow this up and do whatever possible to make sure people aren't just stranded.

Aussie farmers are fed up. Coles and Woolworths’ market dominance means they charge you more at the checkout and pay farmers less. While they turbocharge profits by cutting costs, small growers are being pushed out of the industry. That’s why the Greens want a public option.
