Every rand matters when families are working hard to make ends meet. Through the R10 billion temporary fuel levy relief, government is taking steps to ease the burden of rising fuel costs, with reductions of up to R3 per litre on diesel and R1.50 per litre on petrol from 4 November 2026. This relief is intended to help ease transport costs, support businesses and reduce pressure on the everyday expenses South Africans face. #MTBPS2026
