There was a period in AoS where the most frustrating thing to play against was sentinel spam due to mortal wounds, re-rolls, and >24” range. Good thing GW learned the design lesson, removed the re-rolls,and reduced the range, that book is fixed. Hope that combo never comes back!

(1/4) Time to decompress from #aosworlds2023 with @TeamAmericaAOS.
What a grounding experience. It started as a journey into the unknown where I could let down my team at any moment. It ended as 11 great games against 11 kind humans. The world's community was amazing.
(3/4) These things all challenged my self image (very clean, but too serious to be fun), in a good way, and I’ve struggled to think about how to talk about them or if I should.
We should celebrate the things that matter to us. So - thank you all so much. It means so much.
(4/4) Taking my tiny soapbox to say what victory looks like in AOS - especially for anyone who wants to be part of TeamAmerica 2024.
Victory is winning a GT and having your opponents want to play you again in the next one.
If you didn’t hit #2, you can. Grow. Prioritize it.
