I can’t get over how relieved I am that Watters didn’t have Dick be a dick to Damian. I know Dick can be a massive asshole under stress. But, one, I think it’s sometimes overstated while understating his compassion, and two, I wouldn’t be able to root for Dick if he hurt Damian.

I dont think Dick and Kory should be endgame, but you gotta admit you’ve only been posting their worst moments across dozens of issues, none of their better ones, and without any of the most vital context for that bad behavior (Dala and Brother Blood’s mind control to name two).
It’s not that these moments cant outweigh the good and lead you to believe they weren’t a good couple. Thats a fair argument. But it’s the difference between “bad outweighs the good” and “there is no good”, which is pretty stark imo

The way I tell if I’m excited for a week of comic releases is by whether I check out the comics or the new grocery stores coupons first
TT has been good. Still weighing whether to start pulling it. I’ve never been a manga fan, which this seems to be invoking, so while it’s “good” it’s not “for me” if that makes sense. Still, the impact it’s having is positive enough that I kinda want to purchase just to support.
Final thought on the Dick and Wally friendship, but its interesting that the quality which makes it so appealing to beginners or non-fans is the same thing that makes it so unappealing to certain superfans. It’s very real, but it’s uncomplicated and clean.
Those are just my thoughts though. I think it’s fair to both say that they’ve canonically been established as best friends for a stupidly long time now and that there hasn’t been a lot of textual backing to make it interesting.
